Modify Win 1897 shotgun or not?

Howdy,

First one had virtually no blueing left and was pretty banged up on the outside, so it was bobbed. It is still my go to gun.
The second Was like newish but had a poly choke hanging off the end so it was bobbed.
The third was traded for and was already cut to 18.5". It also is a later production.
That is three for a lifetime of CAS or what I have left in me.
I also have two others that are long barrelled, very nice condition that I will take out on a trap session and enjoy very much in their original condition. Addiction is a funny thing don't you think?
I guess my point is that there are still quite a few 97's out there. Pick one up that is suitable to cut and nicer one to leave whole if you wish. But be careful. 2 will lead to 3 which leads to 4 etc...
