At official 7.5" of snow at the Lincoln airport we now have a 3 way tie at # 19 for most snow in Lincoln since they started keeping snow records in 1948. ;D

Let's hope it stays up north of the Red River. That Vegetable beef soup will taste good tonight, with plenty of hot, buttered cornbread. The weather folks are saying that the high tomorrow will be nearly 60. I gotta stick around the house tomorrow,I have some ammo to be delivered and I have to sign for it.

Didn't take long for those sn**flakes 1" apart to be gone here, even though it only got into the 20s today here. Can't complain about the sn** much here this winter, I think the most we had on the ground was the few inches in November. Keeps blowing by to the north.

Buck, better take care on the ice up there.

A short frog pounder yesterday, then clear and cooled but not much just 69° for a high  51° early Tuesday ...we'll see 70's Wed.

Boss checked some secondary sources yesterday and they're out as well with no idea when they'll get more :( :o ::) :-\

Caught the GC birds doin' sumthin' in public we peoples usually do in private. Broke off the activity before I could get the station wagon parked tho. No images. Keepin' the faith.

Gotta ham steak what's gonna be a pile of l'il pink cubes 'fore long. Gonna introduce it a die-verse assortment of beans.

Been awake since before 03:00.  :(

'Tis -3 and clear. "Mostly cloudy. Light snow likely in the afternoon. Snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches. Highs in the upper teens. Light and variable wind. Chance of snow 70 percent."

Thanks for the Cawffee this morning. I had an apricot muffin with my first cup. The sun is up, but it looks cool outside. I won some 38 S&W ammo on auction last. I need to go and get a Money Order to pay for it. That fixes me up with 38 S&W, now I hope that I can find some 32 S&W.

Interesting, to write my recipes up and make them fit in specific oven sizes I have to google recipes, look several over and go from there.   I want to just laugh sometimes as to what I get randomly.   one called for low-sodium broth than added a bunch of salt.   Another one called for 2% milk and then added butter.   Sometimes several sites have the same recipe and the same picture.   No wonder the un-washed masses can't cook. ::)

Have three different, uhh..., 'lists of suggestions' for pasta fagioli. Took the one looked as if I'd like best. Turnt out ta be a good guess.

Found a site with ah whole buncha stuff in it. The recipes (I copied 'recipe') show the Weight Watchers® points thing the fat lady wants ta see. She figgered some of 'em up on 'er l'il Weight Watchers® calculator 'n gets different results.

The ham 'n diversity bean soup is easy. If it's a can of beans what's different than what ya already have in it, 'n it'll fit in the pot, dump it in – add diced ham. Crock pot on low for 'bout seven or eight hours. Stir occasionally. Don't serve, stick a ladle in it 'n folks can get it themselves..

We removed our last bags of salt to a safer location this afternoon. Was informed that the main office was able to find us some salt, maybe two pallets. We don't have a fork lift, and the last time salt came from this vendor, all they had with them was a pallet jack. Might get interesting tomorrow if we have snow over night ::) :o

T'was right decent taday. Not much air movement. Nice in the sun.

Couldn't find a bird nowhere. Couldn't find a photographer nowhere either. See where another caught a, a, singular, branched at the home nest. Been seein' both. Home she's hid in the nest bowl.

Bean soup went right good with the day. Guess is fifty somethin' tomorrow. Makes menu prep kinda iffy. Havin' a hunka cheese then crashin'. I'll sleep on it 'n decide in the mornin'.

Don't like the looks of this, they say 5-6 total coming but if this mess meets before it gets to us and hits us, it might not be good.
