11 here, into minus WC's. Most school districts have already called school off for tomorrow, and some have cancelled for Friday as well.

We plowed twice today. Will have to change the scrape plate tomorrow, only got about a month out of this. It was the lighter weight one available for this plow( Western). The new one is the heavier duty one. What's going to be bad tomorrow is shoveling the club house area, over 100 ft. of walk. Once you get around the corners of the barn, that wind really whips into you.

Evening, Liz is home with a big ole neck brace on and stitches in her forehead that, in her words, make her look like a Klingon from Star Wars!

She is restricted and can't do much until the 26th when we see the neurologist again. There is a small bone on the second neck vertebrae that has something to do with turning your head, this is where the fracture is. If it is healing on its own he will issue instructions on what she can and can't do at that time, otherwise if it is not healing well they will have to do surgery.

LIT, I am hoping for the best with your wife's injuries.  The evening meal was good, sirloin steak, a Baked potato, lettuce wedge salad with bleu cheese dressing, and a slice of cheese cake for dessert.  More errands to run tomorrow morning. I am going to try and get some well deserved sleep.

Lunch was at the big box Kroger place.

Birds have been on the nest all day. She still ain't quite got it. Fly back ta the stand of trees to the south 'n roost. He's gotta get off the eggs 'n go get her. Then she goes to the nest 'n sits the egg.

She took a branch at 1506. He went 'n got 'er at 1515. She got on the egg(s) at 1520. It was 33º. Dunno.

Chicken noodle was what I needed after standin' out waitin' on 'er. Got some lunch time left over out of it. Got the parts for chili 'n cornbread for tomorrow.

Zit fer me this fine day of February 18, 2015. Rackin' 'til tomorrow.

Dang, all this talk of coldness makes me almost sorry to live in Kommiefornia...  I went for a run today, in 60 degree, sunny weather.   Actually am purty proud of myself for it, too.  Made 7 miles in 55 minutes.  75% of which was down hill...

I took a little tumble today, though.  Stepped on a very slimy mushroom, and had a decent little roll down the hill.  Nothing broken, and it looked quite amusing, I imagine.

Temp was 40° at first light, have been dropping a few degrees may ease up to 48°...before it goes to 30° in my neck o the woods.
Ocala will see 22° the voices say...( that's 60 miles north of me )

Went 'n got her paper myownself. Figgered that was easier than sittin' in an ER waitin' for her ta be treated.

Chili's in the l'il black round one. Do the cornbread after we go back for more cheap(er) dead chicken parts. That off site had clam chowder in their soup pots yestitty. Soundin' better the more I think of lunch.

Let the dog in and out about a 1/2 ago, just looked up and the roof of The Field Marshall is covered in snow and so is the ground.  Even seems to have stopped.

I had breakfast while I was out. I got the errands done, so Victoria and I can sleep in tomorrow. No lunch planned,still full from breakfast. No clue for supper.
