"SHE" did something like that once... heading out , forgetting something about faced and twisted her ankle trying to beat herself back in.
"SHE" goes down in heap , I'm asleep ( early morning on my day off ) in the back room.... hear nothing , know nothing $:-\$

No fracture, but a major OWeeeeeeeeee, "SHE" crawled back in , dog thinks she play'n' and is lick'n her face....
"SHE MAD as hornet... me ? I'm still oblivious

Finally , gets me to respond as she hobble to the back room....what do I do....

..... I laughed !

That's when the fight started !

Hell.... it was funny ! one sided funny ...but still funny !

I rescued her from the dog, i put him in the bedroom. And I was far enough away that I was safe.

Last time the fat lady went splat her bicycle got away from 'er. Didn't scratch the bike. Managed not ta laugh. Hope Rita's ok.

Main road's just wet when I surveyed the situation. 'Hood roads are solid ice. Most e'erbodies' parkin' lots are scrapped clear. Couldn't see a bird on the egg(s). They're in there in the right spot ya an't see 'em anyway. Nothin' I can do if they ain't. Hopin' for a new bird is all.

Thighs 'n fixin's were nice. Chicken noodle for tomorrow. Salvaged 'bout a quart of real pretty broth from this evenin's meal. Gonna make the soup nice 'n rich in chicken flavor.

She went to church and helped with the Tuesday pankake thing, called and said she wasn't going to stop and get my coffee like she promised cause she hurt. Got just enough to last till time to go to work, but gonna cut it close, could have run myself but was in the middle of some things.

She seems to be fine, a few bruises but the worst thing hurt was her ego, especially when she was watching TV and there was an ad for one of those "I've fallen and can't get up" things, I really didn't laugh that loud, it was the dog. LOL Trust me, she thought it was funny the other night when I almost fell out of the window at 3 am in my underwear.

changing the subject ..."SHE" was out doing her thing, a ran late ,
so I grilled a Ham Steak & shredded Hash Browns & Lima Beans.

Did something cool and very tasty .... as I did the HB Potatoes, I added Parmesan cheese ( stuff from the green sprinkle can for Sketti )
and some Garlic salt... DANG ! that was GOOD !

I trip over Victoria's rawhide chews. She leaves them in the hall at night. We had some tortilla soup that moose made on Monday night. It was hot, spicy, and good.

'Bout kilt myself , once walk'n' down a sorta steep trail , stepped semi fresh cow pie I did not see in the grass....
ski'ed on my heel a ways , before I when "ass ov'r tin kettle " and three good rebounds on my butt....
stubbed every toe on that foot all at once , and my little toe stuck like a sidecar with a tall grass burn to boot...
and my butt was egg plant purple a week...

yeah ! I was barefoot , that was years ago , but to this day...only good cow to me, is a "STEAK !

I've had horse wrecks, but that was my only stand out cow wreck...

still had to look funny as hell !

The Cawffee and Hot water are ready for drinking. Enjoy! I have been up since 0500, waiting for the Cawffee to quit perking. I'm On my third cup. It is hot and strong. No plans for breakfast yet. Errands to run this morning.

She Who Still Works once got on a ladder to try and retrieve one of our cats that had gone over the fence on her watch. Fell off the poorly placed ladder (on sloping ground). Thought it was kinda funny, but she really did screw up her knee and had to have surgery. The funny part is after over 3 years I'm still getting up before her and fixing her breakfast and lunch.

Doin' grilled chicken and broiled taters for supper.

About 30 right now, but supposed to try for 70 before the day's over, with nothing but sunshine.

Del,I am sorry that Rita is sore this morning. I haven't fell in awhile myself. Oatmeal and a Bagel for breakfast later. Moose is still here, getting ready for school. Victoria and I are in the back bedroom and I am taking advantage of the electric blanket.

Pieces of dead chicken 99¢ a pound it the big box Kroger. Be goin' out shortly.

Snowing pretty good here at the moment, big classic flakes. We've already plowed and salted once this morning, plus a bunch of shoveling. Looks like we'll be going out again shortly

We had several inches yesterday morning, don't know where Del's snow wound up, maybe down in Tennessee/Kentucky, they got a lot more than they need. Lot of it's gone now, but we have single digit temps planned for the next few nights. Need to go out and re-stock the firewood now.
