Got home a little while ago. Been in the horse pistol ER. Daughters dogs took the wife for a tumble down the last three steps n she hit the front door. Right good sized gash inher forehead, but the scary news is she has a fracture in the second vertebrae in her neck. Won't know more till we see the neurologist in the morning. Of course then I had the fun drive home watching out for the nuts. We have the ones out here with trucks and jeeps with big tires, and you can hear them going, "I ain't never drove on snow before, let's try it!"

LiT, I hope that everything goes well with your wife's injuries. Folks that are not accustomed to driving in snow get crazy. I am wide awake since the 2300 plumbing check.

The Cawffee and the Hot water are ready for drinking. Enjoy! It is cold and dark outside. I actually went back to sleep and woke up at 0500. The girls are still asleep in the back. The Cawffee is Hot, Srtong, and Black. It actually tastes pretty good.

Gots us a blanket of white crap all o'er ever'thin'. 'Bout thirty 'n the government guessers wrote, 'Snow, freezing rain, and sleet, becoming all sleet after 7am, then gradually ending. High near 30. North wind 13 to 17 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Little or no ice accumulation expected. New snow and sleet accumulation of less than a half inch possible.' PE's favorite Wintry Mix 'n she's outta school. Oh, glory....

Check on the birds later on. Off site parkin' lots ain't as full as them it Daytona come Thursday I'll check on somethin' different for tomorrow.

Everything seems to dumping on parts East of the Mississippi.  Wish we could take some of that off you guys.  Supposed to stay in the upper 60's for the next couple of days then drop into the mid 50's.  This is not normal for this area.  We need some moisture, and I'm sure you would like to give it to us.

Victoria and I went back to bed. The electric blanket feels good. I Plan on oatmeal and a bagel for breakfast this morning. Soup for lunch.

Ended up a sorta almost flurries.  Had to look twice to see the damage.

Bob's o'ernight nurse tried ta leave 'round 0900. One them Hunday (or is it High-oooon-die) things named after a city in New Mexico. Backed down the drive like it was clear, dry 'n seventy. Hit the gutter with the front wheels cut right 'n that was that. Managed to move it a couple feet.

Daughter, fifty sumthin', comes out the house. Gonna help. Tried ta push it backwards. Got the passenger side front door open 'n shovin' on the door post. Was gonna open the door 'n yell at 'er but she figgered it out right quick.

Yelled it the fat lady ta watch.

Daughter gets a shovel out the garage 'n the floor mats out her Honda CRV. Digs snow away from the, get this, rear wheels 'n sticks the mats behind 'em. Nurse hits the gas 'n they see something wrong with the pitcher. Front wheel drive. Ain't hit 'em ta straighten the front wheels out as of yet. Put the floor mats there. Ain't helpin'.

Fella cross the street shovelin' 'is drive – again. Walks o'er. Tries ta help push it backwerds. They move the floor mats back ta the back again. Why? I have no freakin' idea. Do sumore diggin'. Still stuck. He picks up his shovel 'n heads back ta his place. Figger he's gonna get a tool or sumthin'. Nope. Goes back ta shovelin' his drive. By the way, behind his car this time.

Two women still messin' with it. Ain't gettin' no where.

Ole fella doin' his mornin' walk stops. Talks to 'em. They get the front wheels goin' straight. Rocks it a bit 'n gets it rollin'. He waves bye 'n continues on his walk.

Look o'er 'n the boy 'cross the road's shovelin' the street it the end of his drive.

That's the kinda folks I gotta deal with when I'm on the street in this crap. Even more frightenin' is, they vote.

Yep! You can't fix Stupid! I fixed the oatmeal and bagel for breakfast. It was good and it warmed my innards. I finished off the last of the Cawffee.

I hope that the snow does not get too deep for the folks that are getting snow. The sun is out and the temps are coming up. I have some soup that Moose made last night that I will have for lunch.

Think that'll be the total of ours when it's all added up by someone other'n the folks in the news/weather/sports entertainment business. Ain't havin' full sun but what we are gettin' is makin' some headway. If it'll get above freezin' tomorrow it'll clear off a lot of it. Wednesday 'n Thursday's high forecast to be low twenties. That bothers me.

Someone comes home early and trips on the door jam, (not slipping on the snow) and falls down in the living room.  Got is sollves she's unhurt, except pride, she has trouble getting up with her knees and I can't pick her up.  Kinda funny know, should have videoed it.  She gets upset easily so I have to be a bit of a combo of mean/funny to keep things going with out her just sobbing.

"At least get moving somewhere, I need to close the door, I can drag you but if you get slivers you'll be Poed" 

Anyway she got to the chair and got up and is fine, almost lost her pants.  Told her I need to get one of those handy-man jacks and stick it under her bra and use it to lift.

Del, I don't think that would be a wise decision. I guess that we will have more soup for tonight. I don't think that the temps got up as high as they thought it would.

It made her laugh which was much better than her sitting there all upset and in tears.
