I am up for the 0230 plumbing check. I let Victoria out and she came back in and she was wet. I had to dry her off and went back to sleep on my side of the bed. It looks like rain for today. A good day to be inside. We finished off the stroganoff for supper. I am thinking meat loaf, mashed potatoes, and English peas for supper tonight. The temps are only going to be in the low 40s

-6 and dark here. Bug shows no WC factor. Gotta go out early as I've got a Doc appointment this morning. We'll pull our samples, then I've got to come in, change shirts( go with short sleeves for BP girl), then once done  there, back to work. Nasty note day

Reckon the Pasta Fagioli has made the keepers list. Second batch was right decent. Mess with it a l'il more next time. Go 'til I screw it up then back off. Thinkin' on grabbin' some dead chicken parts it the off site. Wanna check out a white chili receipt (y'all know the gag) I stumbled onto.

Sandwiched twix stimulatin' conversation about some S 'n M movie with deep meanin' makes one heavily consider employin' the remote. Ain't as if we ain't got local issues we could be debatin'. We do.

Oh how I long for a competin' local talk radio station.

Mornin' Peeps, I slept in big time this morning. We have a cold, drizzly, crummy day. I am on my third cup, and still not awake. I seldom get a good nights sleep anymore. Last night was a welcome change. Some oatmeal and toast are in order for breakfast. Sonic has Dollar Chili Dogs today, in honor of Presidents Day. That's what Victoria and I will have for lunch.

Good news from the disembodied voices. Said it'd be sn*win' in Earnest by early this afternoon. Sounds much better'n sn*win' in duh beach.

Ain't been above freezin' since 2300 hrs. Saturday past. All the paved surfaces are covered with sn*w already. Suspect the fat lady'll be underfoot the next couple days. Should be fun here in Earnest.

Don't think I'd want to live in Earnest. Seems like whenever you hear of something happening there, it's not a good something.

Heat wave here, all of 7 degrees

Didn't do too bad at the Doc's. Got back and had some cinnamon/Splenda toast and then back to work.Handed out the nasty slips and then did about 1500 pounds of salt. Got my drive and the neighbor's drive cleared finally. Just now starting to get warmed up again.

Seven degrees don't sound like warming up. The chili dogs were good, Victoria liked hers too. No clue for supper tonight, maybe Moose will bring something home. No school for her today, staff development day.

Spec't the cold is dropping down this far, they expect freezing as deep as south central Florida , warning the Orange Groves.

No idea for supper, got back-ups but somebody had the day off and may have an idea, she was going to go to Sam's and get the big package of the stuff for paper work and get me a 2 1/2 pound bags of coffee beans.

Moose is making some sort of soup for tonight. I have run out of the kitchen on two separate occasions. I guess that I will be notified when the soup is ready.

Her cuzzin bought us some mass produced chicken pot pie from some place that claims some relation ship with Boston, don't know, heated it up, never ate anything from the place.

Was OK, wouldn't drive to Boston or 48th street for one, was better than those frozen ones she (not me) sometimes eats.   I had eggs, cheese and homemade bread and mayo so I was covered.

Way it's sn*win' I guess Earnest is somewhere close. Ain't familiar with it. Know where Portsmouth is. Try not to but.

Short pump ain't on the shore, it's just outside Richmond. Twas a tavern site off Three Chopped Road way back when. Expanded the buildin'. Got too close to the well 'n the new construction restricted the operation of the pump. Didn't wanna dig 'nother well so they shortened the handle. The rest is history.

In keepin' with the theme of n'er a dull moment in the lower right hand corner of the once great commonwealth.

Snow's still fallin'. Ain't real heavy. 'Bout 1800 er so, our child-like neighbor 'cross the street was shovelin' snow off the drive behind his wife's car. 2030, no evidence of his noble effort. And a car's gone from the drive. Which one you may ask? His....

News from the Norfolk nest. Photographers got 'nuff evidence, leg band images, on the new lady what's taken up with the male, formerly known to many as Botanical Garden's Dad Norfolk, to identify her as none other than HE. The world famous HK's sister from the '09 clutch. L'il incest goin' on there on the banks of Lake Whitehurst. And they have eggs. Ain't that groovy cool?

So, this will make the world famous HK the eaglets' uncle and half brother. Or, he'll be their brouncle. They'll be his neisters and brophews. At the moment, I'm kinda sorry I quit drinkin' whiskey.

Anyway....

Happy ta hear folks are well fed 'n the medical stuff went right.

We severely dented to leftovers. She got inta the pasta e fagioli 'n I made the sausage, cabbage 'n potatoes a fond memory. Removed chicken thighs from the freezer ta thaw. Got potatoes 'n baby carrots to go in with 'em for tomorrow evenin's meal.

Think I need to go blank for a few hours.......
