Guess the carb's got to me     zoned out watching the flat screen & woke a few minutes ago so thirsty I downed a big tumbler of  ice water... gonna be sorry later when it works it way down the pipes .... plumbing checks ahead !

They are say'n upper 40's , so this current cool snap has been a wussy.

M2, That's why I am up at this time of night. I zapped some leftover Cawffee a couple of minutes ago. I figger that it should get to the bottom about 0400. I have the Cawffee pot ready to go off at 0500.

I went a put the coffee on & have some cherry turnovers from the concrete pantry bakery for a bit later...
Plan to ease back now and double check the eye lids for few more hours .... then the above & work 20 ...

Been there, Done that! I got some banana nut bread out of the deep freeze to thaw. I plan on warming it in the microwave and having some with my Cawffee later on. No clue for lunch or supper.

One of my vendors is taking me to lunch, I have spent $16,000 with him in the last month... he's double back flipped to buy lunch

Government employees said t'would be 18º o'er night. Didn't make it, close but no. 20º goin' ta 40º ta 50º tomorrow ta 60º Sunday. Gezzz.... Long range sez right decent for the upcomin' OFSDAR thing. We'll see.

Opened the cabinet 'n grabbed a cup. Derned thing was kinda chilly. Put water in it 'n nuked it. Much better.

We're a tad on the windy side here today.  25-45 mph with gusts up to 60 (even worse between here and Carson City.  Set a new record temp of 70 at Reno/Tahoe airport yesterday.  60 right now up here on the side of the hill.  Supposed to start raining in a couple of hours.  Can see it coming on radar, but back side of the mountain seems to be holding it back so far.  Could really use the moisture though.

Decided on blackened salmon for supper tonight.  Not sure what to have for sides yet.

She Who Still Works only lets me bring out the deep fryer once a month.  January was Hooters wings, so I think in the next week or two I'm due for an old fashion Wisconsin beer batter fish fry with fries and coleslaw!!

The beer battered fish sounds good. I fry my fish outside on the patio. I can hardly wait for warm weather to get here. I had a beef/bean burrito for lunch. No clue for supper. It is supposed to be in the 70s this weekend.

The warm weather never has really left here, but I even go out on the patio in snow storms (when and if we get them) to use the grill.

I think tonight's blackened Salmon would work better outside, but it just started raining so the fry pan will be on the stove.  If I open the patio door and turn the HVAC system fan on I can probably keep the smoke detector from going off.

That's why I fry fish outside. I will wait till early summer for the fish fry. I will go to LJS if I get hungry for fried fish. Cracker Barrel does good fried catfish filets. No clue for supper tonight.

Went to Chile's , (OK ! yeah I know  ) but the Vendor was paying the tab , his call ...
I had Spicy Shrimp tacos, and it came with black beans.... I liked it  , I'd get it again !

Fried fish sounds good.... haven't done any myself since my cooker went up in the barn fire a few years ago.

M2, I can't have those black beans, too "gassy"!  We are having leftover potato for supper tonight. I don't think that the temp got as high as the projected high. Chili's is a local franchise. They have some good things, you just gotta which ones. I have eaten most of their entrees.

Fifty sumthin' later on - so they say. Thirty sumthin' now. Appears we've made it thru the first week of the month in fairly good shape. Hope it holds.

Done the remainder of the black beans fer lunch yestitty. In the diversity soup. Diluted their individuality hence personality 'n certain properties. Much as the government desires so individuals become one-size-fits-all subjects.

HK showed hisownself it the GC. Preened on a tower near an hour. Figgered he'd taken root. Left my spot 'n went ta the off site where he was visible but too far ta do anything with. While I was lookin' at 'im from the parkin' lot the fish-breathed daddy bird wannabe flew.

Ended up with fish ourownselves. Eatin' hole situated only a single stoplight from the near nest weighed heavily in the decision. Home birds didn't show so it was fairly early.

I made another pot of Cawffee this morning. Moose made some apricot bread last night and I am having a couple of warm slices with my Cawffee. The potato soup was good and warming last night. No clue for lunch and supper tonight.
