Delmonico

I think most of us know he was fighting a battle with cancer, he lost the battle this morning.  I looks like the funeral will be Wed but I have no real details at this time.

Farwell my good friend, you will be missed at the musters.

He will be missed.

In my mind, anytime I see a shot up Prop, I think "that's Stu's trophy."  And it always will be.

As typical of his genial spirit in dealing with it all, I chuckle at his coining the term "Ass Cancer".

He shared a lot of good stories and jokes around the campfire with us. Plus he was quite a Marksman, too.
And that delicious "apple pie"!
He will be missed, to be sure.

RIP Stu.

We'll certainly miss all that was Steve and Stu. Truly a man to "Ride the river" with.  Save us all a place around the Big Campfire. Looking forward to doing a Grand Muster send-off for all of our departed warriors in June.
God Bless and shoot safe.

Larry, I'm working on getting us a guy to play taps up there if I can, a friend of mine here in Lincoln who does musician for a Civil War group and has the proper uniform and has several vintage brass items to do it up right.

Maybe we can load up some blanks and fire a salute, he was a Navy veteran after all.

Maybe we can load up some blanks and fire a salute,
MAYBE!? i'm already making plans for it!

I'm providing the blanks but we will need a few more 45/70 trapdoors, preferably rifles but we can use carbines if we need to,

I have a carbine if you don't get enough rifles.

I can bring mine, even if I don't shoot a match with it. Probably easier than trying to make blanks that with function through a repeater.

G.W. Strong

I will be bringing my trapdoor for my main match rifle anyway.

My son Charles was very upset when I told him about Stu. Stu really made an impression on Charles and went out of his way to be extra kind to him. He is missing him too.
