That's what I was thinking. Only 133 years old they should send the part for free

If that was a Ruger it would be covered.

Rowdy, I've thought about it (not very long) and (not very hard) and I just can't do it buddy, sorry and good try.
In reality I paid $950 for this gun plus $200 to have it relined, so I have less in it than an Italian clone,
It was made in the year (1882) that Jesse James was killed, so it's been around for a a lot of history.

I got the safety catch spring and also the trigger spring, since its also 133 years old from Homestead gun parts. I soaked
the screw for a couple days with CLP and it broke loose, so I put both springs in and disassembled everything
for its yearly cleaning. I'm always amazed at how smooth and well built these old Winchesters are.
