If you are a regular reader of this forum you saw the thread entitled "Winter Sucks and it's not even here yet" in which DD said he wanted to give a mold as a Christmas gift to someone that would appreciate it, use it and enjoy it.

Would you believe he picked ME!

He offered any mold on his website. Now this makes a problem for me. I shoot 44-40 and have one of his MAV Dutchman 200 gr Big Lube Molds. I shoot 454 round balls and I have one of his 6 hole molds. I shoot 32-20 and I have a Big Lube 80g 32 mold. AH_HA I'm now shooting 36 cal pistols in the form of 1861 Sheriffs but I don't have a 6 hole 380 round ball mold.

Now I do. It came in the mail yesterday. Weather sucks or I'd have a few pounds of 380 balls done already.

I've been watching DD for several years now and know that he is one to ride the river with. He did some serious financial risk taking getting the Big Lubes to market and those of us that are dedicated to black powder shooting are certainly glad he did.  His designs have taken the fouling problems out of black powder shooting.

I want to thank Dick for his efforts and especially for the new mold.

I will appreciate it, use it and enjoy it.

Man, hearing your "collection" is like a "dream-list" for me!  I love my .44s, can't wait to get .36s, and am looking at picking up a 56-50 Spencer, 45 colt Yellowboy, and a 44-40 73!

Congratulations there Noz. Couldn't have happenned to a better man (exceptin' maybe ME!).  Thank you Dick Dastardly for the generous contribution. I like to plug his molds whenever I see a problem that they will solve. Have fun with that thang Noz.

I was tempted to substitute the little EPP-UG 36 for the RB mold, but I just couldn't bring myself to that mischief.

Next year I'm planning on doing the same thing for someone on this wire.  You Cowboys have supported me and I'm going to be giving some back.  I'm proud to call you "Friends".
