afternoon everyone  :)

just thought I'd share this lovely holster my lady picked out at our local gunshow.  It has a definite bump on the side for an ejector assembly but no tell-tale hump on the upper ridge for a topstrap.  I'm thinking it had either a conversion or old open top in it for most of it's working life.

backside:

it has wonderfully deep carving, and she's decided that a full skirt is the way to go for her gunrig.  It's a bit short for her full size navy, but she's going to use it as a template for the ones she's going to make.  We're even doing a rubbing of the carving to try and replicate that as well.

just thought it'd be fun to share with everyone here!

At 25, you need to follow dreams or you'll regret it later.

That's a good-looking holster, Willie. I actually like the look of the barrel protruding a little like it does but for a fully functional holster, that could be a drawback if the front sight snags. Looking forward to the completed rig.
