Keep us informed.

Went to pick up a couple items a bit ago, why do people drive 10 miles an hour under the speed limit when there is a cop behind us? ::)

Funny when I left the store he was coming the other way and followed me almost all the way home, drove 34-35 mph as the law allows and he seemed fine with it. ;D

Sinner-mon currant bread a risin', gonna take it to work in the am to be nice.  May make a second batch for home use.

Good news Major,  did they check for Acid Re-flux ?

Del, I learned the hard way, many years ago was I driving several MPH under the Limit in the left lane in a Cloverleaf area
I was passing the Right lane rather smartly, however as their lane had a exit as well....
State Trooper pulled me over , claimed I was impeding his right of way , going to slow...
He lost in court however, as I was above the posted Minimum ... and he was not on a call....
He just got annoyed, I guess....
Course , I had to go to court, so it was a no pleasure for me  ::)

Anyway, Now I just travel the posted limit and they , don't bother me ...

Had good time at the range,
though I jammed my Open Top, ejector rod finger nut came loose and the rod sprung back binding the Cylinder. DoH !

prayin for ya Sterner.

thanks for the welcome back Slim!

happy belated birthday Del! ;)

been reading through this month's thread, mhmmm grubbing looks purdy good!

Major, Del, I know what you mean about the "po-po"
far as I can tell with my experience they come in three groups:

Bacon
creaky leather rookies
and the few, good Cops.

luckily around here, actually we have a good number of good cops.  Especially the County Sheriff's department.  We have our usual small town issues with meth and such, but as a whole, they do a good job.  I've been offered a job both with local and county more times than I care to admit, too bad too.  My knee just ain't up for the job anymore.

it always amuses me when I see people slam on their brakes when they see those black Expeditions  ::) it's like they're giving away their guilty of something!

deep down, I still want my smokey bear hat.

coffee is still going strong over here, with eggnog to boot! and sometimes a wee bit of whiskey too ;)

tonight I'm making some minestrone soup from Bear Creek.  Tried their gumbo last week, man that was good stuff.  I've yet to be disappointed in Bear Creek.

right now, I'm debating getting my .44 navy going smooth, and picking up another .44 (don't want to shoot the ASM too much) or... a pair of .36s.  I'm a Remmie man at heart and unfortunately I can't stand the "Colt-clone but with solid frame and backstrap" Remmies brought to us by Uberti and Pietta.  Now that I know the difference, I just can't.  It'd be like a cramped up Starr or old No.3... they just wouldn't feel right without all the room.

meh, I'll clean up the .44 Navy anyways, why not right? :D

I never have any trouble with them much, well had a bit with one about 25 years ago, but was a rookie out working traffic with the Sarge and had he not backed off when he did, Sarge would have got involved and he'd a got a D- for the day.  Don't matter is opinion on open carry in a car, it was legal and I told him about it right away.

Evenin'.

Gotta bunch done on this fine day. Needed to. Guessers said I'd clear up 'round noon. Mistin' at 1530. Oh well.

Found a receipt (can't spell recipe) thingy. Looked tasty 'n easy. Called for sausage, used smoked, diced 'maters, mater sauce 'n macaroni. Tolt ya ta use Hunt's 'n PAM - ConAgra. Used Food Lion 'n added spices I had in the cabinet. Right tasty.

That does it for me for December 9th. Gonna crawl in the rack 'n zonk out.

I finished off the roast, carrots, and onions. I found some frozen green beans and some frozen corn to go with them. It turned out good. Nothing on TV until the NFR at 2200. The fog today messed up air traffic in and out of DFW, not a old day for air travel.

I'm back. Had the 'puter in the shop to check on a condition it had. turned out to not be a baddie, but, it's  filling up with files and no way to get them reduced. Now running Google Chrome instead of IE, might slow things down for a while. Otherwise a replacement will be in order after the New Year. Seriously considering Apple, getting tired of the Micro soft crap.
Had to reset password as I didn't write the last one down after the last dust up. Did keep up on things on  my SIL's laptop, just wasn't able to log in.

Today was a fairly productive day, got the salt bucket working. Finally dawned on us that the problem could've been in the control box, not the bucket itself. Had one from the decrepit one this one replaced. Connections matched, so we hooked it up. Bucket worked just fine with it even though it was not quite the same design. Contacted the vendor and informed them we had isolated the problem. They did have a replacement control in stock and was free under warranty. Picked it up this afternoon and put it on the shelf. We're going to run the old control until it craps out and have the new replacement as back up. We also discovered that the hookup shoes for the plow had holes in the holding pins that we could put clevis pins in and won't have to remove them when we take the plow off like we had been doing for several years. The deck for the Kubota is now fixed, we can pick it up on Thursday and get it back on and be able to finish getting it ready for next season. All in all a productive day. Keys to the kingdom tomorrow ::)
I might be slow, but I'm mostly accurate.....

I've been enjoying catching up on netflix marathons of "Hell on Wheels."  Not going to lie, I'm really enjoying the show.  They just hit the mile marker.  Hope everyone had some good grubbin, Tex sounds like it turned out alright.  Our minestrone actually turned out a wee-bit spicy  :o ... yeah, had to drink milk with it!  ;D

maybe some ice cream will help out a bit too

The Trinity Kid

Evenin' Y'all.

Had another visit from Mr. Whinnie-the-Pooh last night.   Got a few good pictures of him.  He's a pretty big bear, for around here.

Had a practice thing in Spanish class today.  Have Part 1 of the final Thursday.  Nerves are getting a bit frazzled.

Tried my hand at painting today.  Oil painting, Bob Ross style.  What was supposed to be a mountain at sunset, through a brushy glade, turned into a misty sunset over roiling green smoke. ::)  Have to try again some other time, when I have more than two brushes.

TK, We had a vacation to Wyoming several years ago, we were staying in a cabin near Jackson Hole. Moose decides that she needs something from the car. She goes outside and comes back. The next morning, she is talking to the manager, and she tells that a bear had gotten into the trash. Moose did not venture outside at night for rest of the trip.

The Cawffee and Hot water are ready for drinking this morning. Enjoy! The girls are asleep in the back and I am wide awake, as usual. The temps are in the low 40s right now, with a high in the 60s. I have to get the trash and recycle stuff to the alley when it gets to be sun up.
