I don't know if anyone has seen the carbine but all kinds of just plain cool, I saw one one time.

I had one marked to a Bavarian Uhlan unit.

Reichsrevolvers are not terribly hard to find, just very expensive usually when they are located.

Major Matt Lewis

The Reichsrevolver is smokeless or does it shoot the holy black?

They were originally Black, although I'm sure many have worked up light smokeless loads for them.

If I had one, it'd be smoking.....

I shoot mine only with black, but they look strong enough for light smokeless.  (CAUTION!)

A 200 gr. bullet shot high in mine, but a .440 roundball pressed on top of the case struck POA at 15 yds. I have some of DDs 160s loaded up, but haven't tried them yet.

Is that .440 Round Ball the same round ball in which you would use for an 1860 Army?

No, 1860 would need .451 or .454.

No! It was for a patched ball .45 muzzleloader. What you could do is run a .451-4 ball into a lubrisizer for .430-2. Then you'll have an egg shaped proj.

I was at the Cabela's in LaVista over the weekend and they have another one there too. They also had a M-1871 .50/70 Springfield Remington Rolling block.

Major Matt, I'll bet if you are the least bit interested in the Commission rifle, Cabela's would ship it to the KC store.
