I have my flag out every day that I'm home, so for special days I have a Gideon with the number of stars that show Nevada's entry into the union that I put in the second spot on my flag bracket.  It was out flying yesterday.

I just finished my oatmeal and toast. That really warmed me up. It is a balmy 34 outside and I am glad to be inside and not outside working traffic accidents. Retirement does have it's benefits.

Del- the Persimmon seeds were mostly spoons. (Shoveling will be essential) The Persimmons don't lie. My friend in The Twin Cities showed off the 8 or 10 inches they had Monday. The weather guy here says Little Rock and Memphis both had measureable amounts this morning a November record for both.

Afternoon y'all.

We are getting liquid falling from the sky.  more like spitting, but...

Tomorrow we'll be picking up a little U-Haul trailer in the city, taking it up to to the property for one final trip.  We'll be bringing our Honda bike back home.  I'm not sure how much I'm looking forward to towing a trailer with a Subaru over 150 miles and three mountain passes.  :-\  Adventure awaits.

Slow and steady is the ticket, TK. More Beef Stew for supper tonight. I am ready for a warming of the temps around here. The weather folks are saying that the cool eps will be around for another week or so.

Hmmm. Snow already in Memphis and Little Rock, but none so far in my part of Missouri, couple hundred miles north of those. Supposed to get some on Saturday(opening day) So I'll be sitting in a tree in the snow.

TK, just take it easy trailering with the Subaru, you should be fine. Don't be afraid to pull hills in  a lower gear. More important, don't let it push you too much going down.

Guy I used to work for had a 70's Subaru Brat he used to pull a decent size boat around with, I think only thing he changed on it was the carb, put an aftermarket Weber on it, said it couldn't pull the boat up the ramp before he did that.
