Mornin. Got company already. Mom & both Sons showed up yersterday evening, the Daughter's  on her way this morning.  THEN, had a blast from the past on the phone & I'll be seeing some long lost friends today. The Wife won't happy. Haven't associated with them since my rowdy days, & she still hopes those are behind me.

Well, none of those people have seen me yet today, so I'd better make an appearance.

You all have a good one.

Silver Creek Slim

Morning y'all.

I'll continue to pray, Stu.

It was right chilly here this morning. 33 with a WC of 24 :o

Did my rounds and discovered some damage in the barn/club house. Cover for a not used anymore switch box was busted. Not sure when it was done, barn was used a couple times this week. Checked with the boss to see if we had any laying around that I hadn't noticed, zip. Had to go to the hardware and pick a few up. Repair made now, barn is rented both days this weekend, so this was a safety concern.

Had grands over night again,SWMBO is taking them home now and is stopping at off site pantry for makin's for a pot of chili. Command performance,I guess ::)
I might be slow, but I'm mostly accurate.....

Hey.

Went to the newly open Walmart grocery. Not too bad. Better part of town' the other one. Weren't any Walmartians in it. Kinda nice but too far ta go ta pick up just a few things.

Stopped by Honey Bee GC on the way ta HT for more stuff. Caught the fish-breathed avian at the osprey nest. Saw 'n talked with the real photgraphers.

That, mi amigos, is the world famous HK. Sunlight was kinda brutal. Camera was on auto for that one. Manual it was a wash. Ain't got the hang of it yet.

Didn't get much at HT. Think she was shopped out from the Walmart experience.

Looks like shrimp with a side of dirty rice is on the menu for us tonight.

Supposed to get up to 74 tomorrow.  Still sunny as can be.

Started clearing out the eclectic den in prep for the new flooring install.  The couch and the desk will be the last out.  Need the desk for the confuser , so it goes tomorrow night.  The fun starts Monday, with carpet rippin'.

Evenin' y'all.

Went fishing this morning, working the salmon run.  Only managed to land one..  She was about 28 inches, and 6 pounds.   Let 'er go, too scarred up, and real nasty lookin'.   On the way home, had an eagle flying right inn front of me for about a mile.  Real pretty bird, she was.

This afternoon, went to the property for what looks like the last time.   Had some good hamburgers.  Pulled about three chihuahuas worth of fur off the big dog.  :o

Looks like everyone's still in the sack. Just got the fire going here, beverages will soon be hot and ready. Got some frost across the bottoms this morning. Cut some firewood yesterday, can feel the results this morning(and I don't mean just heat from the fire). Will probably overdo it some more this afternoon, if I'm able. Big after church dinner planned today, may have difficulty moving about when I get home!

Arcey

Thanks, Roo.

Mornin', y'all.

Lookin' like a right nice day for a food truck rodeo. Think I'll go ta one.

Pilot (upper case intended) has raised some questions about our good mayor and his personal/official actions as a banker/politician to the benefit of hisownself and the developers who bought his ticket into the office. Hope something comes of it.

Morning the not so warm south. Much warmer and drier than folks in the great white north.

Russ T, i laid the floating floor in our home in Va. Moving everything and pulling the old carpet was the hard part.

My Auburn Tigers got it handed to them...i will refrain from using foul language mentioning the winners. I think Tensleeps would have pulled for them though. But the legacy of Bear Byrant, was able to gain a win in Overtime.

It is Thursday, and another work day for me.

Morning y'all.
Thanks fer the coffee.

Went to Menards yesterday for shingles, etc. for redoing a section of the roof.

'Tis 31 and overcast. 'Bout 3/4" of white on the deck. "Cloudy. Light snow likely in the morning...then a slight chance of light rain and snow in the afternoon. Snow accumulation up to 1 inch. Highs in the lower 40s. West wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation 60 percent."

Don't need any of that S**W talk here.

Among Mail Carriers in my area, Menard's as almost a cuss word too, due to their constant barrage of flyers we have to deliver.

Maybe after they've been open a few more years they'll slow down on that, Lowe's was the same way when they first came here.

The local Menards store was vacated when i went by earlier this week.  Building there signs down .
