Forgive me for failin' ta acknowledge yer anniversary, EP. Wasn't intentional. Congratulations ta the both of ya 'n may ya enjoy many more in good health.

I blame my parents for my early arrival resultin' in the current old age I suffer. It's not my fault.

Had a cut on my finger, was putting iodine on it, spill a little on the wooden floor in the bedroom.  OK run got a roll of paper towels, took a big bunch and wadded them up an put it down to soak up, used enough they wouldn't soak through and make a mess.

She who ain't got her but out of bed but is laying and reading, said,"that's a lot of paper towels for a little spill."   Told her I didn't want to get it on my hands and clothes and it was less than a 1/4 of a 74 cent roll.   Do you want to come show me how to do it.  And after that I told her then just shut up and read.   ::)

Don't think she's real mad, don't matter, ain't coming home till late anyway, going to go meet my Mom and watch the tractor pulls.

Congrats on the 50, Hairy one! Doubt me and the wife will get that far, since I was 49 when we married. Ours sixth is next month, though. Yesterday is her sixth anniversary of arriving in America.

Gonna have to get someone to look at her I-pad, I guess. Won't connect to the wireless. Followed all of mister Googles instructions, still no luck. Life with only one computer can be difficult at times! ;D

Four-Eyed Buck

Happy anniversary Hairy & Mrs. That is indeed a long time. I've been with the Wife 32 years now, don't s'pose we'll see fifty.

Home alone today. She's gone to visit a sick friend. Best friend since high school in hospice care for brain cancer, hasn't been awake since Tuesday.  We've been praying for an end to her suffering, it may end soon.

My wife and I celebrated our 40th Anniversary in March. I hope to make 50 as well. The Cawffee is especially good this morning.

Mornin' y'all.

Coffee is appreciated. I stayed up until early this morning watching stuff on Youtube...  I'll just say that Hickok45 is addictive. ::)

Got work in a couple hours, got to go dethatch a lawn that I didn't get to yesterday.

Congrats on the 50 EP.  May I point out that you have been married three times longer than I've been alive. :P

Just sat a couple minutes. Kid come by ta cut thru the small patch ah woods 'n the bird flew. Coulda been just timin'.

One the pair we're thinkin's staking out the Kempsville CG here in the 'hood, mebbe two miles from the crib as the eagle soars. Gonna be watchin' close. Want l'il eagles in that nest come March.

We had pancakes and bacon for breakfast this morning and a ham and cheese sammichies for lunch. I am torn, two of my college teams are playing each other. Baylor vs TCU, right now TCU is leading 14-10 in the second quarter. Auburn is having big trouble with Mississippi State.

Was a nice Saturday, slept in, then loaded some ammo, then went to town, one of my wife's friends was having a birthday party for her kid at the bowling alley. For what it's worth, bowling is NOT like riding a bicycle! You can forget! Carried a 180 average 15 years ago, if I actually kept score today, probably wouldn't have been over 100! Then off to Wal Mart for the weekly torture....errr....shopping. Back home in time to work on clearing some brush until dark, then more loading. Got all my 30-40 brass loaded for next weekend, pistol later after supper.

MSU beat UCD 77-37.  That's what I like to see here. ::)

Went deer hunting this evening.  Still didn't get anything.  Did see two bears, a sow and her cub.

I discovered a new method of cooking bacon.   Dipping it in a 1:2 brown sugar:hot water mixture, then frying it on a really hot pan the same as normal.  The sugar caramelizes, making "caramel bacon."  It's quite good. ;D
