I have up for sale my Spencer Carbine in 44-40 with over 1680 blanks to go with it.  The carbine is in great shape.  The bluing is 99% and the case coloring is in perfect condition.  The wood has a few handling marks but is in over all great shape.  The bore is bright and shinny.  I have use it for reenacting the American Civil War but I have cut back on my reenacting in favor of Cowboy Action shooting and hardly ever use the Spencer.  This is just in time for the 150th anniversary of the 1865 year of the war where there would have been a bunch of Spencers in use by Union forces.
I will include 1680 ready to fire blanks for the gun.  The blanks were made from cut down and sized .410 hulls and are all in 240 paper tubes of 7 blanks in each tube.  This makes it very easy and quick to reload the magazine when using a Blakslee box.
New these guns retail now for $1687. + shipping and or tax (if you can find one).  The blanks cost about .35 cents each to make.  A total value of $2275. with the ammo. But I will let everything go for $1495. Shipped to your FFL.   I can send more pictures on request.

Hi, TF
I didn't sell it from this board but I do appreciate all you do to keep the SSS up and active.  I hope to get another Spencer next year so this will only be a temporary absence.
I still have my Henry and my Sharps & Hankins that I reenact with.  So I am not completely out of the game.
