Now ya know.

Black Dog

Me 'n Robert Plant, rappers.............................

Chicken come out nice. Salvaged 'bout a quart of broth for chicken soup in the near future.

Found out the Kroger people er fairly sadistic. Hadda propane fueled roaster outside near the entrance. Roastin' peppers. Breeze blowin' towards the doors. Then they packaged the things inna box what'd make Sam's or Costco envious. Just a plain mean.

Seems retailers have followed a Hershey business tactic- reduce the portion size not raise or lower price.

Yep noticed that.  same story for sugar. Cereal & chips come in the same size package with lowered net weight printed on em.  Bacon doesn't come I pound packages any more either.  Most people don't notice, that's why it works.  Heard someone complaining  about paying $5 for a pound of bacon the other day & said that'd be a pretty good deal. Best I've seen lately is 12oz for $5.

Mornin' y'all.

Most of the family is off in Susanville for sister's soccer game.  Just me and my little brother home, watching Dirty Jobs.  I've heard of alligator farms... but moose farms? To each his own, I suppose.

One week to rifle season.  counting down.

My Russ's store brand flour is still 5 pounds, price goes up and down some, still get it most times around 2.  Also by a 2 1/2 irregular bacon package from them had went up to $6.99, that the stuff we've had at Musters Stu, not uniform pieces but more meat to fat ratio.

People keep posting these cute bacon memes and raising the price, you'd think the SOB are working for the bacon companies.  I give em heck when I see them do it.    >:(
