Would anyone be interested in attending a Cowboy Action Shooting match at
the CCKC (Conservation Club of Kenosha County in Bristol Wisconsin held
under NCOWS rules. The range is located on the Wisconsin-Illinois border
south of Milwaukee and west of Kenosha. Attached are a few pictures of the
range.

The purpose of this Match would be to acquaint area Cowboy Action Shooters
with NCOWS and discuss the possibility of eventually forming an NCOWS Posse
(Cub) in the southeastern Wisconsin/northern Illinois area.

This match will be held on Sunday October 19, 2014.

If you are interested in attending this match or would like to
get further information, please send me a PM.

C'mon, folks. If you're anywhere near the area, this sounds like a great opportunity.
Those who know Johnny McCrae, know that he's one to ride the river with and will go the extra mile to organize a grand and safe time for everyone.

If you're an NCOWS member, this is a good chance to help the organization and assist in getting a new club started.
If you're not (yet?) an NCOWS member, it's a great chance to put all that hearsay and rumor aside and find out for yourself what NCOWS is really all about.

Many thanks for the kind words and offers to help.

The initial response on a local level has been good. As a result the CCKC (Conservation Club of Kenosha County) has given the go ahead to have a Cowboy Action Match (held under NCOWS guidelines & rules) on Sunday October 19, 2014.

I will continue to post updates.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or if you would like further information, directions etc.

Thank you,
Johnny McCrae

Been doing a little recruiting and here are a few of the Gents who will be attending. So far it looks like we will have a good turnout.
All we need is Mother Nature to cooperate.

Here is a link to a mini website which has information on it about this match.

Mother Nature cooperated and we had nice weather for today's Introductory NCOWS Match in Bristol, Wisconsin. Sixteen shooters participated in the event. Most had never shot an NCOWS match before. Everyone had a safe and fun time with lots of positive comments. We hope to build on this event and start an NCOWS Posse in southeastern Wisconsin.

Many thanks go to the Conservation Club of Kenosha County for allowing us to hold this event at their Cowboy Range also to Rusty Brec, G.W. Strong and Dakota Denny of the CCKC and to everyone who attended and helped with the teardown after the match.
