The squirrels around my house just eat automotive electrical wiring.

Tex- revenge is sweet.....skwirl with gravy is tasty.... Ask Ms. Kay for a recipe...

There are 4 or 5 cats and 4 dogs on the property. Why there is any slwirls or wabbits in the neighborhood is beyond me. Even the raccoon quit coming to steal cat food out of dishes. Come frost wabbits will become a food source.

Those squirrels have cost me a bunch of money the last few years. They broke my A/C twice, chewed up the wiring on the Cadillac twice, and chewed up the wiring on my Chevy truck. Needless to say , I hate them. The two times that they messed up my A/C, they got electrocuted.

So far, the squirrels here just raid the bird feeders. Along with the deer ::)

Since we have had cats, squirrels have not been a problem.

Played kick ball at the company outing and pulled a hamstring running the bases.  :(

There are lot of brown rabbits and gray squirrels here on the ranch , the cats keep the squirrels at bay...
I think the juvenile eagle that I saw this morning, will put a dent in my rabbit population.

Mornin'.

Guessers say under eighty with a bit of a breeze.

Recorded hawk calls ain't foolin' the tree rats no more. Bird feeder what snaps shut when they get on it still frustratin' 'em tho.

HK 'n BF been more active 'round the GC. Might ride by on the way to the Farmers Market. Too early for 'em to be werkin' on the nest or a new one. Take a look ennyways.

Went out this morning to put the horses out and do morning chores. Good breeze, little to no humidity and cooler temps almost feels like FALL.

That's what I thought.

'Tis 72 and overcast. 86% Humidity. "Humid. Mostly cloudy in the morning then becoming partly cloudy. Isolated showers in the morning. Highs in the upper 80s. Southeast wind 10 to 15 mph. Heat indices to 96 in the afternoon."

Not my fault that kid went to lunch yesterday and never came back, despite the rumors.   ::)  Our p###in' match over his stupidity was a month ago. ;)

Mornin' Y'all.

I been busy over the weekend...  sort of.
Yesterday, I got up at around 8, came out and ate my Froot Loops, then flicked on Emergency.  John looks like my pops when he was 25, just he had a mustache.  ::)

Still no idea what's wrong with the truck.  I tried to get it to run yesterday, so I could take it to work, but it would only crank. :-\  Though the truck has been named...  (Disclaimer: This name was chosen by a third-party female, and in no way reflects the thoughts or opinions of  the author.)
it has been dubbed "Cute Truck."   :o

the reasoning behind this is, it's the smallest truck that we have, and externally smaller than her father's truck. (we have the '77 Chevy, and '62 Stude.  they have an '86(?) Toyota, with really large tires.)  Internally, her dad is putting along with a little 4-cylinder Japanese something-or-other, and I'm runnin' with a 4.0L V6. ::)  Still, it's shorter than the other.

With all my hype, I still didn't get my Chicago Dog yesterday....I was all set primed from Arcey and Jim's  posting's
and hot dog craving ... but

A friend called and asked me to lunch, we wound up at Outback , I got the steak tacos' lunch special & shared a blooming onion.

So today, BY gosh I was going to Sonics...and I got my Dog & later, something I haven't had in years,  a chocolate shake
The dog was .. ok  lowercase intended, Willies over in Kississmee is way better, and worth the 15 mile extra trip !

....but the shake from DQ was heaven  :)

Now , a nap is calling me out....

74 and humid here. Been up for a while working on laundry and e-mail accounts. AC's goona get kicked in in a while here, a few more degrees inside here and it'll be kicked in ::)

TK, sounds like that truck is gonna be a problem child. Is it getting spark at the plugs? Not sure if they still have a separate control module from the CPU or not ::) :-\

Chances are the fire breathing 4.0 (240 c.i.) V6 is European. The same motor as in the same year Mazda pickup. They run in the 150 – 160 HP range when well maintained.

The 2.4 (144 c.i.) inline 4 in her daddy's Tacoma puts out about 100. My '99's 4 was 140. My '01 S-Runner's 3.4 liter (207 c.i.) V-6, 190. It putted around fairly well.

'Course, when their's are runnin' 'n yours ain't, any power at all looks right good.
