Nothing points like my 1860s

Thanks, Everyone....very much appreciated.

So I don't sound like a COMPLETE idiot, let me say that I have two goals in mind when
I talk about this.

a.) Dick mentioned one, which is pre-loading two BP cylinders and carrying them in a NOS pistol cartridge box on my belt.
I have no problem swapping the cylinders on the range, but, of course, would have to step back to the loading tables to recharge them.

b.) The only reason I would think of using a conversion would be to experiment with different aspects of the revolver
comparing performance with different types of load. I think the thing that scares me was all of that talk on another thread
about putting smokeless powder items in a C&B pistol. As I say I am just getting started in all of this and have a lot of learning
to do. But, the History Teacher side of me is intrigued by what people must have experienced as technology transitioned
from C&B to cartridges during the Post-ACW era and into the 1880-s.

BTW: I was glad to hear someone else mention cylinder sizes. During my nosing around I see a lot of mention of Uberti and Pietta and more than a share of Remington in the ads. What I see almost none of are items for Colt Percussion replicas, most particularly a Mod 3 Dragoon. Have others noticed this?

Thanks very much, D-D:

That was exactly what I was looking for. Funny thing was that I was on that site and never found that page. Oh, well..... Glad to have it now. Thanks again.
