Hello,
I recently purchased a Pietta and will be sending it back to Cabelas, not happy with the quality. Where are most of you guys buying your Uberti 1858s ?

Thanks

Major 2

I've bought a goodly number from Taylor's ( used to buy in numbers for films )
The last few Remington s I got was for "Into the West" all were quite nice...  but I've also dealt with them for my use as well...

The only Remington I have now is from them, it's the Factory Conversion and has been a very good piece.

Cimarron & Buffalo Arms are two more sources , I have worked with Harvey s Cimarron , but have not purchased from Buffalo Arms
( just never have )  I'd might contact Taylor's, as my first attempt....
when planets align...do the deal !

;D  I will second the Majors advice. Taylor and co, are top notch people. Ive had the opportunity to visit them at several gun shows in my area. Always took time to talk to me about the guns or even questions about stuff they didnt sale. They are in Winchester Va about 3 hours from here. Been meanin to go up and check out there place. The stuff they have brought to the show has been top notch quality.
Aye its been quite a ride aint it?

I have three..

I got two from Taylor's and one from Dixie Gun Works (Taylor's was back ordered at the time for many months).

I cant tell the difference between the three, but I think the DGW one was one sale at the time so it cost me a fair amount less.
