       Looking for parts again.  This time I'm looking for a rear sight or at least a rear sight base for the 1868 or 1870 Springfield, if any of you would have a stray looking for a home.

Got the barrel back from the machinist today.  The remaining bore looks nice.  The part he cut off sort of resembles sewer pipe!  The project advances!
