I'm just giving public recognition for the fine folks at Stoeger Uberti's Customer Service Center in Maryland.  We had an 1871 Open Top that needed service.  We use the gun daily in a shootout show and being without it was a real blow to the show.  They fixed it in top notch fashion and got it back to us within a week!  Such fine service is hard to find these days.  So we give them a rousing round of applause.  Service like this will keep bringing us back to them and their products.

Stoeger must have changed some people. I bought a Rem '75 clone over a year ago and could not shoot a complete stage without it locking up.  Stoeger hung up on me then refused my calls and wouldn't answer my mail. The dealer made it good by replacing the '75 with a Colt Clone.

My experience has been the total opposite.  We have Rugers and others that bind up nightly (frustrating... Argh!) but this little Uberti always fires like a champ and never has bound up.  Aside from breaking a part or two from the consistent abusive of rapid fanning, this is by far the most reliable we have in our show... Even on a steady diet of black powder.  They were awesome to deal with.  I've got no complaints at all.
