Jake, Ive got enough extra Krag rounds for two people.  Between Jerry and I we've got plenty.  Please, we need some corporals to keep all these damn officers in line!
Civilize them with a Krag . . .

Sorry Slim, I've been out of town the last couple of days and just got home. As Delmonico Said we have plenty of room and that goes for anybody else considering it.
Sounds good. I'll plan on it. I should be there some time on Friday. I'll see if the boss will let me off the following Monday for a travel day.

If it was just the ammo, I'd take you up on it.  Unfortunately, after ETSing from the Army back in April, my job hunt wasn't exactly fruitful until this past week, when I landed a night watchman's job.  Easy as pie, but the hours don't work too well with other things.  If I did attend, I'd be asleep halfway though the first stage.  ::)  Hopefully by the next muster it'll be practical for me to make it.

So everyone knows, I am planning on arriving in camp sometime tomorrow afternoon.

Once I'm there for an hour or so I will be able to provide meals of some sort, homemade of course

I plan on full meals of course on Friday for 25 or so, but anyone who is going to be there sooner than Friday morning let me know just for an idea.

Also Gatorade search was not as good as hopped.  I 5 cans of orange that make 6 gallons and that's what I add to my jug for that "start out stong and mellow" stuff I keep.  Also have part of a can of green I'll save for the guys who want it in the evening.

If anyone wants other flavors grab them or if you see some cheap grab it cause I cleaned the Wal-mart I go to out yesterday.   Powder is cheap, but getting hard to get, going to have them order me a case of green when I get back if I can, we have one that is great about helping out.

Also, I have the two yaller jugs like always, one for iced tea and on for Gatorade, if someone has a extra one to toss in we can set up an ice water one, a couple extra to take into the canyons would be nice also.

Also will have to salt pill/heat tabs as always, I know some besides me use them.

Oh, I'll have my cell phone on and even if I don't here it I'll check messages so if anyone is lost or needs a load hauled up, call.

Wow does that bring back memories. Marshfield, WI had one of those in the 70's. I didn't know it still existed.

Tis Slim's it comes from up there, We see it now and then, most often at Menards of all places, but since Menard's and I are not on speaking terms I don't get any anymore.   No root beer is good enough to get me to go back in there, even if it's only for root beer.  And why does a hardware store need a grocery section anyway?

" And why does a hardware store need a grocery section anyway? "   ???

...reminds me of a old joke  concerning an RC & a Moon Pie  :) it's a southern thing.  ;)
I've heard of Menards .., mostly on the NASCAR & Indy cars also ran lists ( another Southern thing )
seems to me I've  been in one in SPRINGFIELD, IL.  :-\
With none closer than Kentucky looks like, We've managed without too.

The Joke ( less someone be wondering )

Man walks in and says, "I'll have a RC Cola and a Moon Pie."
The guy behind the counter says, "You must be from Alabama."
The man is a little miffed and says, "If I walked in and ordered Peking Duck and Tea would you say, I must be from China?"
"No"
"If I ordered Pasta Carbonara and Chianti would you say, I must be from Italy"
"No"
Then Why do you say I must be from Alabama when I order a Moon Pie and RC Cola.

"Because THIS is a Hardware Store."

::)

I didn't say it was old FUNNY Joke   ;D  you just had to understand , the late Jerry Clower

I still like A&W from the tap, not from cans or bottles.

I'll have to agree, but only in the "Frosty Mug."  It just ain't the same outa that paper cup.  I was in one of the new A & W's for the first time in years.  It was combined with a fish chain (I forget what the name of it was) and they still had the glass mugs advertised on the menu board.  Took me back to my childhood.

Long John Silvers ...sorta a hanger on from the 70's  British invasion music 60's 70's
and Fish 'N' Chips fast foods  in the 70's.
The two national chains were  the a for mentioned LJS & Arthur Treacher's Fish and Chips
both have dwindled and are now owned by  Nathan's , the Hot Dog people ...

and you're spot on right about the mugs....  sorta like Coke in the old original little green bottles

I think the Alum & varnish they use to seal the can,  flavors the suds in distasteful way.

There was an A&W Drive In in Amarillo in the 60s, complete with carhops. That was always a treat when we drove over there. Moose is doing errands today, she's going back to Atlanta this weekend and returns on Monday.
