Always glad t' share, Del. ;D

Had a bit of respite from the warm weather yesterday.  Only hit 85, and we got enough water falling from the sky to mess with the layer of dust on the car.   Hot and dry again today.  :-\

Saw the first two fawns in our neighborhood deer herd, today.  I think they were born last night, sometime.

In a while, be going to play some board games with a friend.  Got cookies in the oven for that.  These cookies took first place at the county fair three years ago, so...  should be good. :D

Y'all have a good day.

I was told recently that I'm "livelier than a one-legged man at a butt-kicking contest."    Is that an insult or a compliment?

Got back from the hardware store and grocery, burgers for supper.  Go some psycho oil for my psycho lawnmower, stopped and fot a gallon of gas too.  Did some Gatorade and salt tablets, going to go mow in the 105HI cause the neighbor will be home soon and he says it about kills him to watch me do it.  LOL

The mandolin I ordered come in.

Sliced up one of the cucumbers Ali 'n Alex grew in their garden 'n one carrot. After that I was outta stuff ta slice.

Didn't use the guard thingy. When it got close I ate what was left. Folks I see in the cookin' competitions cuttin' themselves with 'em are usually werkin' the things at Mach 1 when they do. No hurry. Ain't much doubt in my head that thing'll remove a fingerprint if ya get careless...

What's funny is I finished messin' with it. Checked my e-mail in got this:

Mornin', y'all.

Might rain, might not. Too warm 'n too sticky. Standard issue July ole stuff. 61 days 'til fall.

My knives'll cut stuff thin. They have a handicap tho. Me. Ain't got the skill ner patience required ta cut stuff that thin, that uniformly, that fast.

All kindsa stuff on the agenda. 'Bout all of it's cleanin' stuff - includin' guns - more fun makin' 'em dirty. Best start thinkin' on gettin' to it.

You ever wonder what goes on in the Media's production offices?
Sometimes i wonder if they are hurting for stories. That they recycle old news while they wait for Malaysian Airlines to send another plane somewhere. This morning i read a FOX report that Berretta was moving to the Nashville area from their location in Maryland. I knew of this plan before The announcement of Remington moving to Alabama.  Now maybe it was not officially announced. However one might safely assume when the employees are told that their jobs are safe if they want to make the move with the company. That it is a done deal.  Just my opinion
