Pards, I have some pictures of my arms, but I am too computer illiterate to post them.  The size is too big and being a low tech boy in a high tech world I don't know how to fix it.  I do know that they will fit in an email so if someone has the where with all to fix that I'll mail them to em.  Any takers?  Thanks, Beaumont

Well, Pards I guess you will have to wait to see my guns untill I go to computer school and learn how to run the darn thing.
Edited part;  Two flints Pard.  The Schofields have real Sambar Stag, I was lucky enough to get them before the shortage hit. I think the Faux Ivory is from Sweede, but I don't remember.  The Russians are some of the first in the contry.  I had them before any magazine write ups were available.  In fact, I loaned them to The Iron Duke to play with.  I don't know if he ever did an article on them, but he had them before there were any other articles written.  I am waiting for the Nice Pards at Bar-S to get their Faux Pearl to their likeing.  I want them for the Russians, Smith seems to have used a lot of Pearl in the old days.

Joss House,

Yes it does! It was a special ordr from Cimarron. Since the picture, I have added Ivory Grips.

Guys,

It would be nice if you could label the different pistols by Location, name and a brief description of each one shown, for example, from left-right "Navy Arms, 7" barrel w/Ivory grips", etc., etc.  I don't get enough of such opportunities to see another person's collection and I like to know more than just being able to look at a picture.  Maybe, also where the special grips came from if your pistol has them!

It would be just more interesting, at least for me!

Thanks,

Two Flints

This is my Beretta/Uberti 7' Schofield in the "white finish" to my knowledge this is the only one here in Australia. Makes it hard to get a partner for it !!! The grips I got off Gunbroker.com. The revolver itself I'd say it's more a S/S then "white finish".

Gotta love these SCHOFIELDS !!!

Boss Members,

I thought I'd post my shooting gear.  Starting from the top is a Spencer 12 gauge shotgun, followed by
my Taylor Spencer in .45 Schofield configuration, followed by my S&W Performance Center Schofields, also .45 Schofield.  My Slim Jim holsters and cartridge belt were made by Rick Bachman of Old West Reproductions.

Nice try Pard!!! ;D..In the fist place you know I don't really like Schofields all that much and the second place I REALLY like the NM3s :P.

I'll have them at the convention and you can handle them all you want.  Bring your Schofields and that Russian you picked up.

French Jack

I hope that Joss can get the pics posted of my Smith that I had Jim Downing do some scratching on at the NCOWS Convention.

Why FJ, That's a right purty BarBQ pistola if I ever saw one! Question is: Do you prefer hickory or mesquite?????????

GW, I prefer the piquant flavor of hickory over the pungency of mesquite.  Pork goes better with hickory.  Just ask any ham!

Howdy Pards and Pardettes.

French Jack, Pard that is a fine Iron, I have a short Schofield that I think could use some graveing. Might want it Nickeled also.  Of course it would need to have a set of real Pearl grips.  Then I would probably have to have a new rig to carry it in.  Guess I ought to go out and start picking up bottles by the roadside, and save up for all that.

Will, Pard I think that the NM3 was/is the epitome of the 19th century single action revolver. I really wish that the new Beretta more reasonably priced, as far as I can see It is just the Russian frame with a different grip shape.  I once looked at my Russians and with the light just so, I could see where the new cuts had to be made. I don't think that those different cuts justify a 500 dollar price increase over the Russian.  Heck, just loosing the hook on the trigger guard ought to lower the price some.

I guess that Val just wasn't fast enough or they changed things and bumped him out when they changed owners.  I think that Navy Arms NM3s would have cost just as much as their Russians do.  Maybe They can still make a deal with Uberti for  Navy Arms NM3 at a price we can nearly afford.

Just my two bits in the kitty.
