The Trinity Kid

Hey y'all,

I know, I know... I'm late.  I'll put on a pot for the night owls, though.

Been a busy day.  When I got up, made some of that paper-shred-and-Elmers-glue hot cereal that yankee's try and pass for Grits (  ;)  ).  Not ten minutes after I finished with that, younger sister gets up and talk our mother into going and getting some Froot Loops.  I love Froot Loops for breakfast (and lunch, dinner, and midnight snack).   :-\  Oh well.

Then, this afternoon, I dragged my younger siblings across town to the college where we picked up a female friend of mine, and we all went and splashed around in the creek for a couple hours.  was pretty fun, until we ran out of drinking water. :(

Came home from that, had time to heat up a drumstick left over from last night and scarf that down before I had to scoot down to band practice.  I still ended up a couple minutes late for that. :-[

Four-Eyed Buck

I'll rewarm the left over and put a fresh pot on as well ::)

Rained most of the night here. 70 and rain at the moment :-\
I might be slow, but I'm mostly accurate.....

CHESAPEAKE - A 49-year-old woman fell from a vehicle as it was traveling west over the Gilmerton Bridge on Tuesday.
Chesapeake police said the woman, a passenger in a 1999 Oldsmobile, **tried to climb out of the sunroof of the vehicle.

She was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with serious injuries.

**Tried? Kinda reads like she made it......

Ennyways....

SALVO, N.C. - By the time the people near David Frasier knew he was in trouble, it was too late to save him.
Frasier, a 49-year-old from Fredericksburg, had been digging on the beach near this Hatteras Island town Monday afternoon.

Authorities say he was tunneling between two holes about 6 feet deep when the sand above him collapsed.

Rescue personnel were called at 2:40 p.m. They found family and bystanders pulling Frasier from sand that was 5 to 6 feet deep. The family told park rangers he had been buried for 10 to 15 minutes, said Cyndy Holda, a spokeswoman for the National Park Service.

So much for breakfast 'n light-hearted humor. Gotta clean a couple revolvers 'n do other stuff whilst Tom casts bullets..

Arcey, seems like the common thread in those stories is they're(were) both 49. Glad I made it past that age safely.

Always a good thing ta start the day with a belly laff at the expense of a bunch of losers.

That warmed the cockles of my heart, Arcey.  Nothing aggravates me more than to see a person park in a handicap spot and get out of the car and run into a store or some such, while I am left to find a non-handicap spot to park my truck with handicap plates on it in, and gimp off to my destination - heck, I would gimp anyway, but just not as far.

If there is any of that mud left, I might just have some, and I'll do a set up for the erly crew, as well.

We got back from SoCal a while ago, went down on Monday, had two graduations to go to on Tuesday, and came back home today.  Got Granddaughter Kayva sent on from the Fifth Grade to Middle School, and Grandson Kathan, and a whole bunch of real good kids we know through him gradded from high school.  Wore our walkin' ability to a nub getting to the stadium at a community college where they had the high school ceremonies - 1200, give or take a few kids in the class, and several of "ours" got special awards of one sort or another.  Now, they are all off in different directions to find out what real life is all about; I have faith in them - they are a bunch or real sharp kids.

Gotta go feed the critters, and put my weary body in a horizontal position and inspect the insides of my eyelids for light leaks.

Later.

Say hey to your cuzzin for me

Pick up my old colt revolver from the gunsmith today. According to him he has it cycling  and properly timed. It will be like shooting a new gun. It has been broke for 2 or 3 years now.
I'll have to find the ammo in storage first.

Had a lite shower a hour or so ago. Predictors say more later today

That NASCAR/Handicap sting thing brought chuckle to me....

Kinda like fishing for dumb-ass's in barrel  :)

They spent cubic dollars to attend the thing,  then got stung $$$ by the MAN for abusing the Handicap parking law.
Nobody to blame but their own selfish selves , course they blame the Law, NASCAR , even the Handicap , anybody but themselves,  prolly go home and kick the poor dog !    ::)

Thank for the Joe this morning, Y'all have good day....  Later
