They paid a civilian consulting firm a milion$ for the solution.

Take the doors off. Buck.

Politicians gotta keep funds flowin’ ta their contributors so they get more campaign donations.

Thinkin’ Roo’s got a solution. Wino’s settin’ up camp on the park benches in Ghent’s Stockley Garden’s ‘n surrounds in Norfolk. The gentry what lives there didn’t like it. City removed the park benches. No mo wino’s on the park benches.

Duh beach took ‘nother approach. They added a center arm rest ta the benches on the concrete boardwalk so the bums couldn’t lay down on ‘em. Only cost $250.00 a bench for the modification. My tax dollars at werk.

Also, if they sleep on the beach at prohibited times they send out a garbage truck ta run o'er 'em.

Removing the doors is one solution,I guess ::) Got it solved, small ladder and a rod. tripped the latch in a second or two. Females is messy things! :P

Had some light showers whilst I was taking care of the pool stuff. Managed to stop before I got down to the sewer plant. The guy with the brush hog is here doing the empty areas. New lots without units on them set up for future use. He was prepared, was wearing a bee keepers hat( screened). He said we were going to have a bunch of fat barn swallows. They were going nuts catching the bugs he was stirring up ::) :o

Females is messy things! :P

And that's the truth!!!  I had a job in the Navy cleaning the NCO Club every morning before opening; the "Ladie's Lounge" was the worst part of it.  Son worked as  maintenance man in a sewing factory staffed by mostly females - he said the same thing.  Funny thing is that they ain't that way at home, at least not in my experience.

Good morning you all, thanks for the cuppajoe.

Still hot, dry, and frequently windy, same for the foreseeable future; 10??? until it ain't, I s'pose.  Trying to get a head start on getting ready to go to SoCal on Monday; got two graduations to go to on Tuesday.  Of course, no trip down there is complete without taking the distaff contingent to the beach, and fitting in numerous social obligations, so it's gonna be a tired ol' time by the time we get back on Wednesday.  I'm just sooooo looking forward to it - well, the graduation thing is paramount; the rest I can do without.

Y'all have a good weekend and week coming.

Later.

Good afternoon, y'all.

well, back from the camping...

fishing was reasonably productive.  landed more than 20 Perch, and 3 Bass.  kept one perch and 2 bass.  Kept the Perch because he swallowed one of my 5 hooks, and I wanted it back.   ::)  Should make a nice fried fish supper tonight. ;D

Wimmin when "helping" men shop sould be handcuffed and gagged when the men are shopping for work boots or hats.   Besides being a PIA most times they like to grab things, show them and put them back many yards from where the found them.

Oh and so someone thinks I am picking on gender specific, men wearing shorts, tank tops and crocs should never be allowed in a hat dept and should be shot if when trying on a hat. look at someone especially the hatter and ask, "does this hat make me look dorky?"

The hatter will be forced to answer some time and it will not be pretty.    ::)

Maybe the best answer would be "no, THE HAT doesn't make you look dorky"

With all due respect Delmonico, there won't be ANYONE handcuffing and gagging me with out first having "a discussion" with the unfriendly end of my finely tuned pistols.   I'm thinking most "wimmin" here are thinking the same.  :o   But hey, if'n it makes you feel better to say that... Well first, do you know that in a stack of hats that the large ones go on top and the small ones on the bottom?  Also do you know I can't take a soft toed boot into the back room and add a safety toe, just cause you like the color of it better than one with a safety toe?  If so you would be one of them that gets a pass. ;)

Oh and if you are coming in to buy a hat for someone else, you do know they come in sizes don't you?
