Got some folks up-set with me a while back, the scum is coming to Lincoln the end of the month, reminded them that he supports terrorism (PETA) and wondered why in an Ag state we just didn't tar and feather him and run him out of town.   Guess if it happens I'll have an alibi cause I will be at Sargent then.

Looks like it may be another long night, torcon is at 5 for what it's worth and the chasers are up in SD straight north of me along the line.   Pick-up is gassed and camera and extra batteries are in my haversack on the seat.  (Don't call it a man purse)   

Was watching the live stuff last night, one of the armored car things stopped for gas, the folks coming out of the Pizza Hut, looked a bit and decided to go back in.

Well the AC is fixed in the house. Downstairs unit was out and the upstairs could only do so much with the heat rising. It had to wait until the hottest days we have had so far.

Have a t-storm watch up until 11 tonight, and flash flood warnings up until tomorrow morning for the Nimisilla creek. The village of Louisville got inundated again this morning. Lots of flooding there. It was raining again up in Canton proper a bit ago, but nary a drop here( about 3-4 miles south)

We're havin a T-storm warning. Doplar radar indicated a storm directly over my house & we got the warning about ten minutes after it started. Lots of rain & some hail. Not big hail, but plenty of it, ain't gonna help the wheat.

Got 2.5" of rain out of the storm that started last night. A popple and tamarack feel during the storm. They were on the edge of the field's drainage ditch. T'storms possible thru Friday.

68 and rain here. 80% chance today. Might be a short day..........after we get wet that is. Tomorrow afternoon I get the keys to the kingdom for about ten days. Vacation time for the head people

Thanks for the Cawffee this morning. I made a pot of Cawffee and Hot water for the late risers. I have slept in the last couple of days. Victoria misses her Mama. Moose bought me some provisions till she gets back. I don't plan on doing any cooking, cause it is too hot.

It is 10 degrees cooler than 24 hours past. Still calling for low 90's

Still at work so it will be 3 hours till i return home.  I started cleaning a old shed out so i can use some space to reload in. May have to eait till evening before i go do any addtional work.

Morning chores are done, enjoying the air conditioning now. I will be glad to see some cooler weather arrive.

....and with them came the flash of lightning and the crash of thunder - close.

....and the wind gusts (50+ ?)

....and the electricity blinked off long 'nuff ta mess up the electronics' settings 'n shut down the computers.

Didn't last but 'bout 15 minutes more 'er less. News saying it caused a lot of damage. Got a substantial size limb in the front. Just missed the mail box. Nothin' else I know of yet. Know what I'll be doin' tomorrow.

Good part is it cooled down a bunch. Raised a few windows a bit. Feels right nice.
