Good Morning Gentlemen,

Every Easter Saturday (i.e., the day prior to Easter) Women don the outfit and Bonnet that they have been making all winter and show it off to the public ... then we hold a 'Gala' Where various reels are performed.

At the Gala, one of our not-photographically-disinclined members mounted a Victorian back-drop and took everyone's pic ... enclosed is my standing and sitting pics as well as a group pic from last year ...

My moniker is my great grandfather's name. He served with the 2nd Florida Mounted Regiment in the Civil War. Afterward, he came home, packed his wife into a wagon, and was one of the first NorteAmericanos on the Frio River southwest of San Antonio ..... Kinda where present day Dilley is ...

Guns don't kill people; fathers with pretty daughters do.

Hi Y'all,

I am fortunate enough to be able to buy from the rack ... (thank you Gentleman's Emporium) with a few exceptions:

* underneath the coat is a 'gun that never was' a .44Cal. '51 Colt ... Wrapped up in a Will Ghormely Slim Jim, a 9.5" bladed Bowie
(Thanks to Major 2), and the belt by Chuck Burrows; Thanks again Chuck!

And thanks to the park patrol who have been lenient to us in the past ... I would have been so busted for CCWPs!

* the watch was 'found' by my watch smith; it is 1895 Illinois; that is the winding tool and setting tool/wrench hanging from the chain...

* My watch 'fob' is an officer's compass in pewter

*the Vest ( complete with buttons) was from another reenactor ... my gut was his loss ... it fits me but is too big for him ...

* the boots are old Fort Western stock ... Thanks Delmonico!

* The tophat was from a company in New York ....Don't remember the name ... was the only company that offered a raffia tophat.

* The pants & jacket were ordered from Gentlemans Emporium due to the closeness (San Jose), they usually have it in my hands within three days

Glad you liked the pics!
