I plan to be at the BSS Memorial Match next month, but my favorite wife, AKA Mary, won't be attending.  She will be preparing for her daughter's wedding ..so, this is one good reason for me to leave town!!

Ah yes, I understand the feeling well. Unfortunately in my case the daughter was mine as well so any suggestions of me getting out of the way were severely frowned upon. Fortunately, however; our daughter's marriage was in July and my wife has since returned; replacing the crazy lady I had been living with for several months.

"Wild Ben" Van Dorn, #3783.  Part-time cowhand, part-time saddle-tramp, full-time biped of pandemonium and frequently seen in the company of the no-good card sharp Blackjack Charlie!

Been out of the hobby for about the last fifteen years, and it's nice to get back!  When I originally shot, it was SASS, and after moving back from California and learning about NCOWS, I had to dig out my duds and saddle up again!  I'm a lifetime shooter and member of the Dark Side (it started with flintlocks), and a dyed-in-the-wool warthog.  I also produce historically-themed shooting videos and promos, when Blackjack Charlie isn't trying to bushwhack me.

Hope to meet some folks on here in March.  I'll be the tall feller wearing a camera; don't be shy!
