been up since 3 AM...could not sleep , figuring I was in Hot water with the Wife , over her  ::) rude friend just dropping by with
babysitting request !

and that was after the friend , bi*ched me out on my gun collection and liberal dribble in my own home !  >:(

see the whole story on the NCOWS BB....

Thanks Jim for the Coffee... I'm on my 4 or 5 cup ...I'm about wired ....but on the Spousal front , I'm not in hot water  :)

Thanks for the coffee,TLD ;)

Gotta get myself gussied up in a bit so's I can do my duty for our deceased Vets.

It's sunny here, but only 39 :o Might've been some frost earlier, just looks like heavy dew now.

Wife got me a new pair of shoes for working in. My old pair was getting kinda smooth on the bottom. Hikers, Columbia's. They date back to my retirement in '04. New pair are New Balance, at least theres a grippy tread on 'em. They call'em Country Walkers instead of hikers. ::) Found'em at Gander Mountain, the shoes and fishing weights for my SIL are about the reason we go in there ::)

It is hard for me to picture Del in sweat shirts and sweat pants, not the average Old West clothing.

It's a mental image i could do without. :-)
Sorry Glen i couldn't resist

Thanks for the coffee Tex

Went to a blacksmith- dutch oven- flint knapping demo near Ft.Payne the sock capital of the world.
Seen a nice small memorial to the CCC workers while i was there. Nice park.
Blacksmith was more artistic than practicle but still take a piece of scrap metal and make use of it.

But I have pictures of it, none in sweats and a T-shirt.

Do 'em proud, Buck. Know ya will.

Wanna try'n remember ta look for sales on sweats durin' the swelterin' time. The ones I have done gotten too worn out ta wear in public. Fact is the fat lady don't wanna be seein' 'em in private either.

Those biscuits sound good< Major! Just finished some cold cerial and toast here, off to work now. Weather guessers here are guessing next three days will be spring again, upper70s to low 80s, before the rain returns to soak the holiday weekend(as usual)

Derned if that weren't fun.

Saw a bunch of old folks. Main topic t'was health insurance.

RO I've known since he was a pup was takin' info at the table inside. Went out 'n watched some folks shoot the course. Didn't know the first ARO runnin' 'em thru. I end up with a l'il lady.

Tolt 'er I only shot like this once a year. It's true. Only qualify once a year. Said she'd help me thru.

Held up a magazine 'n asked if it was time ta 'put this thing in the gun.' Tolt her I'd put bullets in 'em inside. Yeah, it's time.

OK, sir. The targets turn. When they face you put three on each. Cease fire if they turn away before you're thru.

Targets spun. The 26 spoke – covered down – back in the holster. Assume interview position.

She said, 'Uhhhhhhh, yeah.........'

Got my hunnert. Did lose the front sight in the last string but I found it quick 'nuff.

HEY, cuzzin Tom. Frank Allgood sez 'HEY!' 'n congrats ya on yer escape.

Arcey, Glad you shot well. I'll have to make time to go over to Frank's office in the City of  Chesapeake and harass him about spending my tax money. Looks like I' have around 168 rounds loaded for OFSDAR Thursday.
