Raining here this mornin. So I am sorting some .38 and some old .9mm brass that was given to me. Sorting size and the nickel from the brass.
Interesting to me some of the 9 is date stamped.  The person who handed to me, father was a LEO , still some wadcutters in the boxes that didn't get used.

Finish this may go look for a range listed not far from here.

To this day, I miss China Red :'(

She was the very best leg control horse I ever owned, A big Sorrel Saddle-bred Mare , I could drop the reins and with just leg pressure
she would go in direction I asked, almost as if she read my mind....
I often rode her with just a halter & lead rope ....
I could whistle her up and/or if I want her to follow me ...no lead was needed , I'd cup her up under her jaw and start walking then let go, she walk just over my left shoulder , stop when I stopped and start as soon as I did without further touch....

Major my Walker which followed China years later, was on his way to that end... when he was freakishly killed by a kick
to his Basal Skull Vertebra, by my Daughters Cracker Horse ( they just playing & messing around ) when the unlucky blow was struck !

Got church tomorrow, then probably going gold panning/ mountain stream fishing.  :D

Morning all. Happy to say my Mom's still with us. Being jus a child when I was born & having aged better than I, she could still pass for my sister. Hard to believe she'll really be 70 this year.

Weather was beautiful yesterday but I felt crappy (dose of poison started Friday evening), feel better this morning but the weather's crappy. Another indoor day for me. Maybe I'd better do some dry fire - see if I have the strength to heft them big irons.

Lucky Irish Tom

Nice and sunny here, daughter and the grandkids are supposed to come out to ride. Took my wife out for breakfast this morning.

Good ta see ya hangin' in, Stu

Hey, y'all.

Me 'n she went ta the rodeo. Didn't eat no breakfast myownself from messin' with the turkey. Old age, fergot. The Coop was there with a sausage, egg 'n cheese sandwiche on toasted potato bread just fer me. She went back ta the BBQ truck 'n got pulled pork (vinegar based sauce) nachos.

It's a home conversion. Prolly done inna barn somewhere. Back doors ain't on it. Chicky-babe werkin' the window writes the order on the brown bag with a Magic Marker 'n passes it ta the cook. She's havin' trouble with the breeze. I'm behind it when money starts blowin' out the cash box 'n thru where the back doors used ta be. I caught a couple but yelled fer 'er cuz less I get ta keep it I ain't bendin' o'er for mere money.

Had 'nother one with a trombone struttin' 'round, Buck. Coundn't get the three in one frame. Doin' old jazz. Think they frightened a couple kids.
