I'd hate to go to the airport, I make people nervous all the time as is.  I probably would end up with a cavity search.  :P

I feel the pain,  my wife hung one of the dam things on our screened porch.
I dodge it a time or two and it (I swear) would swing to nail me. Once it finally did , that's when it became an AIR Plant .

Now she's got one of those wind chime thingy hanging there so far it has behaved itself  :-\

Thank for the coffee, Jim.... headed to the Quack , see if they can fix my knee.

Good luck with the knee M2, they can do miracles with em nowadays, I got two metal and Teflon ones ta prove it.

Arcey, I told Beartoth after the match that if he was gonna have a bunch a crippled up old men at these shoots the least he could do is use less targets, I swear they were heavier in the heat.

Is the heat?
Or just old age? You are not imaging them targets gain weight.  My little pistol targets wear me out.

Should've seen it last month. So many hunks of steel 'n stands downrange it looked like a scrap yard.

Think the whole set up tear down thing would be easier if we had more storage so the Tim Conway L'il Ole Man character steps wouldn't be necessary in the conex. I gotta remember ta bring that tub of grease ta lube them lockin' lugs with too.

We've done 'em with less out but it ain't as much fun. Goin' all the way side to side 'cross the berm I thought was particularly challengin' 'n enjoyable with a good size mix. Worked real well on the alternatin' sequence with the tombstone knockdowns. Think it would have been better with the lollipops on stands instead of the ground but that would have been more junk ta lug out 'n back. I ain't an advocate of work.

When it gets too hot to be out playin', like I'm fixin' ta do now, gonna write one with minimum set up 'n movement. Put it up, shoot it, put it away 'n be gone 'fore 1300 hrs.

Been thru the brass. It's in the tumbler. Shot 144. Dallas kept findin' strays 'n tossin' 'em my bucket. Brought 151 home. Pret good interest these days.

It is hot and muggy around here, no rain for us, but the folks in the Panhandle are getting some well deserved rain.

This is officially my last day of chemo"therapy". Took the last dose of poison this morning.

Had a pretty productive day yesterday. Got some .45acp loaded that I promised my Motorcyle Mechanic & found a box of 16g shells I picked up somewhere that be can use & I can't.  Found a gunbelt I can wear & got in some dry fire practice. Haven't been able to wear that belt in years. The one I wore last year is going to need shortened up.

The Trinity Kid

Mornin' y'all.

Today is the official last day of school for me, though I was technically done yesterday... :-\

Went to "Turtle Bay Exploration Park" yesterday for younger sibling's last field trip...  I didn't know there were that many K - 3 graders in the north state. :o :o :o

Had my last drivers training yesterday as well.   Should be takin' the test and gettin' my license next week sometime. (Lord willin' and the crick don' rise.)

That ole fella woulda been good eating Arcey. High in protein & low in fat.  I'm going to have to be careful what I eat now, which will be a switch. I've already gained back a few more pounds than I wanted to.

Blair

Stu,

If you can ever get past the smell!
For a living creature, these things are the most "dead" smelling things I have ever encountered.
But, from what I hear, they do eat good. It just ain't going to be me that fixes it.
My best,

I'm not looking to fix one either Blair.

Arcey, I ate light yesterday to and brought some sports drink because I knew it would be hot.

Having a little less movement in the heat would be nice, but yesterday was fun.

Mornin'.

Lookin' 'bout the same as yestitty out. Not unpleasant a'tall.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. The memorable fragrance of a four day undetermined death inna apartment where the electricity's been shut off for a few weeks – in mid August. Seen grown men engage in projectile vomitin' after a few minutes of exposure.

Turtle soup rivals the aroma? Interestin'. I'll put it on my list of future culinary adventures.

Enjoy yer coffee 'n breakfast, boys.
