Thgose small cans of Trail Boss have always been 9 oz'ers. Like Arcey said, too bulky to get a pound of it in'em. Same thing with the big containers, what would be an 8 lb'er in most powders, is a 5 lb'er for Trail Boss.

Well, I was weedin' out front of the park when the rains came. Wonder if I can get some of thosze Federal goodies now since I got a wet back now ::) :o ;D
I might be slow, but I'm mostly accurate.....

Reckon long's ya ain't a wet back vet lookin' for medical attention from the VA yer good, Buck. Now that O'Bama knows it's screwd up, 'n he's furious 'n outraged, he'll fix it. Single handedly.

Fifty for 500 'n no shippin' from someone who had 'em in stock 'n ready ta send with no additional shippin' was as cheap as I've found.***

Got primers. Down to less than four thousand of the Remington things. Two duds in the CAS thing out the Marlin. Week 'fore last out the 26 at Bob's. The springs in my Glocks are box stock, first time a primer didn't pop with either of 'em. Same pistol I used to requalify Monday, no failures. It ain't my guns. Got CCI's loaded for the OFSDAR thing.

Got the 3 Sisters in, corn, beans and pumpkins in the same hill, got cukes in, got kohlrabi in, got tomatillo seed in, hope it ain't too late.  Got okra in.  Gonna do the green beans (snaps to Arcey) the parsnips the carrots and the beets, don't look like were gonna have beets for the muster, sorry Stu.  Had a package of salsify aka oyster plant around here and dang I can't find it and Earl is out. ::)

Put in Golden Bantam sweet corn this time, got some blue stuff for a planting in a couple weeks, figure the kids will think it's cool, little ears on a 3 foot plant.    ::)

Thanks for the coffee,TLD ;) Need it this morning, having a tough time getting it in gear for some reason( allergies probably) ::)

Wife is doing the flower thing this week. Got 5 hangers out now, one is in the pathway to take the dogs out and hangs low. Both of us have run into the dang thing already ::) :o :-\

62 and clouds. Had some more rain late last evening.

I finally got a solar light for our flag pole, might be an adventure getting it attached, though. Dang clamps are somewhat balky. Got'em apart, might be a problem getting them rethreaded ::) :-\

We had a little excitement at 0230, a Police chase on our street. The car wrecked out across the street and driver fled on foot. I don't know if they caught him. I sat on my porch in the dark, with my cuffs, legions, and my pistol grip 12 gauge shotgun for about an hour. I didn't see him .

Not sure on the baby corn but the oyster plant is a biannual like carrots and such and they go seed the second year also, flower looks like a purple goatsbrewar of which they are of the same genus just a different species.

LIT, I am glad that you and Arcey got shoot together today. We've had a hot one around here. I had a 4 hour eye exam today that wore me out. It looks like that I gonna have cataract surgery on my right eye in the near future. It is growing weaker and it is my dominant eye.

With the new techniques, it's almost a slam dunk now a days,TLD. Once you get past all the grease and drops, you'll marvel at how great the world looks in better colors. The clear vision is a real plus, too. With mine, I could actually drive without specs if'n I had to. Reading's another thing, but hey, there's got to be some downside, I guess. Been wearing specs since the 5th grade anyway, so still needing bi's isn't big deal.

Managed to get myself hurt today moving the tables for the pool setup. Teach me to put my finger where it don't belong ::) :o :o Busted loose a good sized piece of skin on my finger, bled like a stuck hog, too, and didn't have a test strip near to take advantage of it ::) :o ;D Just have to watch it really close to make sure it don't get infected, there's bats and pigeons and other critters up in that barn. Not really sanitary :-\

Evenin'.

Hope everone had a day good as mine – the heat notwithstandin'.

Bird I been watchin' since February 22 decided ta fledge this mornin' at 0711 hrs. 'Bout the time I was backin' the station wagon out its room ta head west. My prediction was tomorrow – 90 days from hatch, a couple days slow for a female. Close, no cigar. Congrats, Peaches. Today was the first day of the rest of your life.

Decent OFSDAR get tagether. Hit every stinkin' target. All six bonus targets. Every freakin' time I pulled the trigger I got a CLANG. Knockdowns went o'er like teen aged girls at a Beatles concert. Clean shoot? Heck no. Got a freakin' procedural.

Hope ya heal up quick 'n clean, Buck.
