This holster is one " half - breed ", that is the extension of Back Flap of the holster allows to serve as fixation in the belt
the back flap is reduced at least, contrary to Mexican Loops.

Some realizations of the holster " half breed "

Edward GALLATIN is a famous US saddler who created his Company in the 1865s, in Denver (in the Colorado),
we find here his particular style

the holster is entirely lined, with   "filler"

with the originals

détails of skirt

details of " back flap ", where we see the sewings in the hand of the skirt

Very nice!
It must have been some tough job getting that holster stuffed through that loop!

You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself

Cheer up things could be worse, sure enough I cheered up and they got worse.
