Still a sick PUP.... I returned from the NCOWS convention with chest virus, seemed to be some better yesterday afternoon , but back with vengeance this morning.
I'm also limping on sore knee , what makes running at both ends a challenge  ::)

Gunshow in Big City this weekend NRA Banquet was last night. I think the Rocky Mountain Elk Banquet is tonight here in this not so big city.

Local Sherrif is looking for some missing Dynamite-  No need trying to get the reward money- I don't have it.

Rainy skies next couple of days may just go fishing

Thanks for the coffee

Theft of Dynamite these days is a serious matter, given the terrorist aspect. It is still cool and windy this morning, but the rain is waiting till tomorrow to appear. "The Professionals" is on AMC this morning, Claudia Cardinale was good looking back then. I have a complete outfit like Lee Marvin wore in the movie that I am saving for a "Wild Bunch" shoot.

Reminds me of the old story, the game warden and fisherman together in a boat fishing. Fisherman lights a stick of dynamite and throws it in. As he is picking up the fish, his friend the game warden keeps telling him how it's not legal, gonna have to arrest him etc. Fisherman calmly lights another stick and hands it to the warden, and asks "are you talking, or fishing?"

Good morning all.

Might convince somebody to go pop off some rounds today.  I slept myself out of a city trip.  :)

Went out for a bike ride with one of my amigos last night.  Waited for it to start raining, then hit every muddy, slimy puddle in town.  a couple were over the tires (I got 24", he had 20").  My mother just about had a heart attack when I walked in the front door with all that liquid mud running down my body. ::)   I did have to mop it all up, though.   :-\

The rain started about noon and it has been intermittent since then.  We have wind , which makes weather feel cold and damp outside.  A good day  to be inside.  Pot roast with carrots, onions, and potatoes are cooking for supper tonight. A good "stick to your ribs" meal for tonight.

Slim
Had to take a break from other things to do some wood cutting today. 5th of April, had four, that's right, just 4 pieces of firewood left. Forecast in mid 30s several nights this week. Looks like I will still be burning wood till tax day. No chopping today, though. Just cruised the gravel road for dead elm tree limbs laying in the fence rows. Hopefully now I can just stick to cutting down green wood for next season.

Nice day. Good shoot. Had 'nuff folks to run it comfortably even with the big three day thing down Carolina. Nice ta have folks knowin' how ta set up run the clocks, handle the registration 'n stuff helpin' out. Hope the folks at Father Time are havin' a hoot.

Didn't try'n shoot a sixth shot out the revolvers even once. Think the rust fell off the lever gun operation right quick. Ripped a couple stages with it 'n it felt like old times.

Damned if I ain't beat tho. Rack's gonna feel good.

Mornin'.

Forty sumthin' goin' to fifty sumthin' 'n sunny. Mighty fine.

This racin' season's holdin' true ta the last one. If yer wantin' rain, schedule a race at 'hood nearby. Good chance yer gonna see it come race day.

Already devoured ham 'n grits. Narrowin' down the din-din choices. Be hungry again when the time comes.

Gotta unload the station wagon. Secure the hobby equipment. Thinkin' on takin' the fat lady out ta catch up with HK 'n 'is lady friend. Maybe grabba cup coffee from a gourmet place - like Wawa.

Guess Del, ain't as much of a Luddite as he claims :o ;D

Arcey, that dang door was open again yesterday afternoon. Management thinks it may have more to do with shifting, settling of the ground plus higher winds ::) :o

Arcey, It has managed to rain around here every year at race time since they opened the track in 97. This year is no exception. It has been raining all night.
