When I drive the wifes I'm sure a bunch of folks say, I saw an Amish guy in a SUV/Crossover/Station Wagon.    ::)

Got to get The General to the mechanic, I'm done looking.   Need a better one, still gonna have to stay with the pick-up or give up cooking.

Moanin' all. Got about 7"+ over night. Schools closed, wife's home and let me sleep in. Streets plowed, but the drive isn't. Have to get to it later ::) :-\ The blower will get used this time for sure ::)

Del, At least you tried. Time for the experts,I guess$$$$ :(

26,WC16. The squirrel's are in the feeder tray, at least I won't have to scoop much snow out of it for the birds ::)

I might be slow, but I'm mostly accurate.....

This is one of those mornings that I'm glad I have 4 wheel drive. Wish I had a heater too :o. It was six below & I had to drive the Wife to Madrid then come on to Grant with the heater blowin cold air. Think it's having a cumputer glitz.

Major E A Sterner

Stu, more likely the thermostat is stuck open,I would check this first, it's cheapest to fix

Thought of that, but the temperature gauge says that's not the problem. :-\

The temp is 26 and will get down to 18 tonight, which is cold around here for us. A good day to stay indoors.

Happt B'Day, cuzzin Tom. Ya don't look a day older'n.... whatever it was last year!

The friggin' last Ford we had had a vent door in the dash stick. In the summer time the AC was blowin' hot air. They hadda take the dash out ta fix it. Don't know what's worse.

The weather guessers it the Wakefield office musta gone the seven miles up the road to the radar trap otherwise known as Waverly. Hit the ABC store, what's next ta the 7-11 what's next to the dirty book/DVD store what's next to the no-tell motel what's next to the restaurant, 'n got 'em a jug er six. Or mebbe the landry mat 'cross the street 'n got 'em some crack.

Disembodied voices in the station wagon say 44° on the south side 'n the thing in the dash agrees with 'em. Mist is thick 'nuff ta make ya use the windshield wipers 'n the sun's hidin'. Can't see Trashmore from 'cross the lake. Ain't even the most die hard of the broad-tailed strutters out on the joggin' path.

Damn. Them boys missed it a mile.

Even a combination of cables & vacuum hoses wasn't fancy enough - has to be computer controlled ::)

Been working on the book, making sinner-mon rolls, gonna make Salisbury steak and home made french fries for supper.  Was just working in some of the available vegetable types and typed this and thought of Arcey since I'd never heard them called snaps till I met him here.

Green Beans  (Phaseolus vulgaris)  are also known as, string beans,  snap beans, or simply snaps, depending on the part of the country you are from.

The snow I cleared was pretty crunchy,Major. Plows had it about 12"+ at the end of the drive. My blower was wheezin' pretty hard to clear it( single stage). kinda slippy underneath it too. ::)

23 and dark now with some stray flakes floatin' around yet :-\

My snow was dry powder and very light, I'd guess 4".  All the big ones have went north or south around us this year, wheat farmers are getting nervous.

I hope that we can keep the evil white stuff, North of the Red River. A pot of pinto beans is cooking and cornbread is baking. The temp is in the 20s, with a low of 18 over night.

Lucky Irish Tom

Thanks for the birthday wishes Slim and Arcey. I figger the weather guessers saw that it was my birthday n kept it cloudy n foggy so no one would notice cuzzin Arcey. Started my day with a visit to the cardio doctor, boy aren't birthdays different when you get older, but everything checked out okay and I don't have to see him until this time next year. Got a new Asus Windows 8.1 tablet/laptop for my present so it was a good day. Got marinated steak and spice cake with cream cheese icing for my evening meal. Well about time to call it a day.
If ya can't be fast it's good to be Lucky!
