Can anyone offer some help on how to index this sight so that it stands a few degrees closer to vertical?  Presently this brand new sight leans rearward just enough that with a small aperture, there's a bit of 'fuzz' in the bottom of the opening.

i don't believe there is a way to index vertical. usually the site is bought for a particular rifle and this is factored in. if i remember correctly it is either 11 or 22 degrees available?

someone else with more knowledge might chime in and correct me.

Most people use brass shim stock to adjust the angle that their tang sights set on, when first installed.

Just cut it a little smaller than the base of the Tang sight and it will be hard to notice.

A thin metal shim under the rear sight base screw might be your best bet?
You may also have received the wrong tang sight for the type of arm you have. Both ideas are worth looking into.

Thanks guys.  I'm pretty sure the sight is correct...the attachment screws definitely are correct.    I will make a shim that corrects the angle.  The sight has no wobble, so I don't want to screw with it too much, and affect that solidity.
