Reassembly Help?

Well, last few months have been hell but I have gotten the time to take apart my sticky 1860 and found a nice piece of extra metal on the hammer.  Unfortunately, I am now struggling to put it all back together (first time I have ever taken one down to "ground zero" as it were). 

The trigger has me hung up, suggestions or pics of proper reassembly?

Hammer forward, lay it in with the sear down toward the hammer notches. Run the screw in from the frame thru the trigger hole. Then install the bolt/trigger spring. You can check it out before you install the main hammer spring.

Pettifogger

There are only three parts in there.  (Four if you count the hand.)  The hammer, the trigger and the bolt.  There are three screws: one for the hammer, one for the trigger, and one for the bolt.  They can only go in one way.

I would suggest printing off the VTI parts diagram to use for a reference.  It will show you how the parts go in.  Hope that helps!

I would suggest, put a dab of grease on all the pivot points on the screws & such., also on the bolt spring that contacts the Hammer cam. You can grease the hammer cam and hand pivot stud by placing the Hammer in battery. Look thru the hammer slot ( Window) you will see the hand pivot stud, to the left is the bolt reset cam on the hammer.
For C&B grease I use Mobil one synthetic grease, not the oil. I also use this on the Cylinder Arbor. They sell it by the pound at any Auto supply store. If it's red in color, you got the right stuff. Some use Bore Butter for Internal C&B grease. I live in the Arizona Desert and BB at 95-100 degree's runs like snot. The red stuff will not shrink or run, and is very Black powder friendly.

Mean Bob.  Go to Pettifoggers files on tuning up a C&B.  The pictures there should be of assistance to you - and you can give it an action job while you're at it.

I too live in Florida. Would you consider driving 200 miles South to let me fix your Problem?
I see no reason why, with the information you have provide so far, why this fix should cost more than 100 bucks plus your expenses!
