Went and got sheep-sheared this morning. Did the feeders, and took dogs out for second time

Currently 24, partly sunny. Winter storm watch starting tomorrow,plus temps are supposed to go deep into the dumper by Monday. Might set a new low record for the day......Brrrrrrr!

Moose is fixing a big batch of Turkey Tetrazeni for our supper tonight. We should have enough for 3 or 4 meals out of it. The temp got up to the low 60s today.

My appetite was pretty good today. I ate a pancake, three eggs & three slices of bacon for breakfast & left nothing for the "dogs" for the first time in weeks. Had been & bacon soup for lunch & plannin' chili cheese fries for supper.

Wind chills of -30 predicted starting tomorrow afternoon & lasting till Monday afternoon.

Thawin a turkey breast for shreadin an cookin in salsa, makes good taco filling...leastways we agree on it.

Stu, I am glad that you are able to eat real food. The Tetrazini was good and we have leftovers for the freezer. We are expecting a cold front coming through and staying through Tuesday.

Fat lady did pasta with a meat sauce. Don't know what she put in it but it was right nice. She didn't mess up too much stuff either. Don't know what ta think.

Morning all. Coffee is very nice this morning. We are coming up on three strait months where the nightly low has been below 20 degrees. That doesn't usually happen.

The funny part is, at 6 a.m., the temp. will be 15. At 9 a.m., it'll be 35, and by 11, it's all the way up to 50. Yesterday even hit 60. Unfortunately, the only time I've been going out is when it is still in the 20s.

We had a low last night of 27, and the high is only going to be 45. I had some oatmeal and toast for breakfast. Some Tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches are planned for my late lunch. I am getting ready to watch the Chargers/Bengals Wild-Card game. The Packers/49ers game is later today. I am a big Bengals fan, because Andy Dalton played HS ball at Katy, Texas and college ball at TCU. I am not a 49ers fan, so I will root for the Packers.

14 degrees and snow here, as of noon. Supposed to go to about -10 tonight, high of 0 tomorrow. Went last night on our weekly grocery run, but I'm gonna have to try again after work tomorrow. You'd think it's the end of the world coming, the produce section was almost completely wiped out. No bananas, no taters, no nothing. All we found was carrots and a little broccoli and a head of lettuce. Meat section was about the same.

had the nephew back to the range on Friday he is taking to .22 shooting. Improving with each visit.

She 'n me took a ride 'fore game time. T'was fifty eight by the thermometer thingy on the dash in Kempsville. It read fifty four when 'n where we checked this out:

A hunk of the bay. She 'n me's eat a ton of crappy I hauled out of there in years past.

No signs sayin' what the man-made lagoon was supposed ta do. Sign says no fishin' from that pier. Ya can fish from the one in the background.

Betcha there are plenty of these things in the summer. We even got the damned things by the lake 'round the block from here.

We had those cotton mouths in the stock tanks on the ranch. It makes you think, Do I really want get in that water? We had plenty of Diamondbacks on the land as well. We kept snake serum in a refrigerator on the screened in porch during the summer. I do not like any kind of snakes because of that.
