Be bravin' the elements here in a bit. Usin' drive thrus whenever possible.

12, WC is 8. Earlier we were at WC of 0. Snow has tapered off, but I'm plowed in for the second time since last night. Gotta go out and brave the cold here shortly. Drive needs done as well as the bird's feeders. Tree rats have left not much for the poor birds

Tis 29° with wind gusts ta 39 mph. Supposed ta be 40° tomorrow 'n 60° on Sunday.

33 here, going back in the deep freeze tomorrow.

Some days I should be ashamed of myself, note I said should.

Last night was one of them, got this really nice HS Sr at work, hard worker, but a little bit what you call naive, but she tries hard to learn.  Well she was cleaning one of the counters down stairs with those sani-wipe things, one of my ideas sprung in my head and I told her not to do that.   

She said that it needed cleaned and wondered why she shouldn't.  Told her to look at the package and that they kill only 99% of the germs.  She wondered why that was bad.

A quick science lecture on Darwin, The Origin of Species and survival of the fittest and with in a couple minutes I had her convinced she was breeding a super germ that way. 

She wondered what to do and I told her just leave the germs alone and clean it with a paper towel and Windex.  She did, I will now see how that progresses.  I have several options planned.
