Wife's home again today, no transportation, schools closed due to cold ::) took a while to get some time on this thing :-\

Just a quick note to say I finally got hired on permanent for Amazon. Most likely doing the same job or picking orders instead of packin' 'em.

My BG check needed to go thru CA data bases & it took them longer. Been here in NV 9 yrs. Come Nov. those folks will quit "hauntin' " me.
Confuser issues on this process still suck but I made it work in the end...just a little ADD "bassackwards".

Will "pop in" when I can read up on what's been happinin'...off to the salt mines.....

It did pass with only a minor incident involving high wind and a hot ember in the grass... water hose took care of that.

We finished off the Beef stew for supper tonight. The sun has gone down and the  temp  is gong  down too. The weather is going to be warmer this weekend. The weekend meals are up in the air.A fire in the fireplace will feel good tonight.

Had a bowl of Homemade Cauliflower soup and half a Spiced ham and cheese sandwich for dinner.Have to start eating healthier over the winter season,Don't burn off the calories as quickly... ::) ::)

Take out chicken dinners tonight, had gift Certs. 13 with a bunch of wind here, also have Winter Advisory up here. May get up to 6" of the nasty white stuff, and then some extremely cold temps :-\

22 here, with about 4-6" of the evil white stuff depending where you look. Been out already and cleared the drive, but it's still snowing, have about a half inch on there again. birds are chowing down something fierce, had to fill all the feeders after I shoveled. The tree rats ain't helping the situation either ::) :-\

Submitted federal taxes via e-file. Working on state taxes and a neighbor's computer. Probably malware.

Slim, I do not know the price around here, I just fill up the tank on my gas grill. I got some homemade tamales for tonight and I am making a Frito pie and nachos to go with them. It should be warm and filling.

Wow... What a long day... of doing nothing. :-\     Did enter a gun drawing, though.  A .38 Special S&W 637 with pink grips (for my sister..), A Kimber Gold Match .45,  A Benelli Vinci 12 gauge, and a Cooper Excalibur 30-06.  $10 a ticket...when does my pay check come in... ??? ::)
