We enjoyed the Brunswick stew tonight and still had some leftover for the freezer. I will start the beef stew in the morning after I put on the Cawffee.

That's why I said slightly...   We already had our stretch of cool.  Made it to the low single digits, + WC.   

Of course, now we are officially a drought zone...   maybe the lake just froze   Actually, it's pretty cool.  The lake is down low enough to see some of the old towns that were submerged.  They say the Trinity Center site has some stone structures still standing since the lake filled up in 1959-63.  Maybe see if I can dig up an old pistol or something...   Maybe not.  $70,000 fines just don't seem worth it...

School's closed again taday. OFSDAR convocation's canceled. Best ta stay away from downtown. Knockout paperwork I suppose.

Done up chicken breasts yesterevenin'. Nice. Hadda can Margaret Holmes Pepper 'n Peas. N'er done 'em before. Got 'em warmed up for a side. Ro*Tel, it any level. ain't got nothin' on them things. Half of 'em went in the ice box.

Plumbin' check it oh-dark-thirty. Hit the L/O Six Bean 'n Ham. Tossed in some the spicy stuff, prolly four or five ta one 'n nuked 'em. Them things still made their presence known.

Beef Vegetable this evenin'. No added heat.

The sun is out and the temp is up to 34. The Beef Stew is in the crock pot for tonight. The good smells should be coming soon.

The Beef Stew turned out good tonight, with enough left for supper tomorrow night. The temp is gonna get down to about 10 degrees tonight. We got out the electric blanket and put it on the bed. Victoria should like the warmth. The Cawffee will be ready in the morning, as well as some hot water for hot tea. I have some errands to do tomorrow. I am gonna have to get my heavy coat to be warm. The heater in the pickup works good and warms up fast.
