Was out at break, was so windy that I took the General out of gear and it started moving, gusts are to 52 they say.  Bet there are semi's napping somewhere.

Del, Had a pitbull attack in Cleveland yesterday. 6 year old boy, between the boy's Lab and the police it was stopped with the pit dead. Owner, the boy, and the Lab ended up with stitches :-\

The wind can make those semis move around, and that is no fun at all. We get high winds out on I-20 and I-30. I had a one ton van that did not like high winds at all. We had spagetti/meat balls for supper. I got the kitchen cleaned up. The girls have gone to bed. I am relaxing with a fresh cup of Cawffee with a dab of jack Daniels.

Wow, talk about disregard for consequence....  I was riding my bike out with a friend today, and as I came up the street to my house, a car comes up in front of me.  The passenger takes a long drag on their Marlboro, and tosses the lit butt out the window into a patch of dry grass.  Jus' so y'all know, we been having a drought for the past 6-7 years around here.  And this jerk guy throws a butt out the window into the grass...guess what happened?  the grass started to burn.  I managed to stomp out the smoldering bit before it actually caught, but still....  I wish I had been able to get the license plate number on this car, 'cause I'd report 'em to Cal-Fire. >:(  Don't know 'bout y'all, but I like my house not burnt.

The latest I got, Buck: "While the pilot was still listed in critical condition Thursday afternoon, 'we're optimistic about his recovery,' said Cmdr. Mike Kafka, a spokesman for Naval Air Force Atlantic.

The cause of the crash is under investigation. The pilot, from Strike Fighter Squadron 143 (The Pukin' Dogs), had taken off from Oceana Naval Air Station at 1:50 p.m. on a training mission."

Thanks for the Cawffee this morning. I just finished my oatmeal and toast. The temp is in the 40s and the sun is out.  I have some errands to run. My next door neighbor passed away Wed. He had the fast C and only lived a few days. His wife works for the school system here. He was a glazer and worked for a local business. I also heard that one of my HS classmates passed away this week. I have been out of HS since 66.

Sorry to hear that, TLD.

Had grits and OJ for breakfast, since we ran out of milk for cereal.  Off to work at 10, going to move more cow droppings, I think.  Maybe I'll be chosen to tend the burn pile.. ::)

We cancelled the calling hours for tonight, had big burst of snow about 4 and things have gotten right icy. Was just outside and scraped the drive and put down melter. Did a little slipping myself down towards the end of the drive. At the beginning of '06, my SIL slipped down there and totally dusted her rt elbow. 13 titainium screws and plates to put back together. Since then, we don't let her touch a snow shovel and we're damn careful about that end of the drive. :o ::)

Thirty sumthin' with a breeze. Rained o'er night. Clearin' up. Should be decent if the freakin' wind would find somewhere else ta go.
