Well, the tire problem is resolved. Chemical reaction of the rim material and salt. Had to reseal the bead On the IT front, just got done getting the SIL's 'puter put back together. Gonna take a while to get used to W-7, different look, plus don't know where some of the controls are. At least the tech was able to trandfer the SIL's stuff to the new one. Still have a few tweeks on the Anti-Virus program to make yet. Did get the Weather Bug back in. It's the new version, though. Not sure I like it

We are having the potato soup for supper tonight. I have to make a grocery run this weekend. I am low on breakfast stuff, soup stuff, and sandwich stuff. The weather is cold and damp, a fire in the fireplace is in order.

They are not suited to snow, road salt, and ice. The potato soup was even better the second time around. I slept too much this afternoon, now I am not sleepy. I just made me a cup of Cawffee to drink while I am on the computer. The cold weather is over for a few days. More rain for today.

32 and dark, with about an inch plus of snow on the drive and road. Park plow is out as we've also had some freezing drizzle to go with it

So far, the new unit has the SIL happy. Refurbbed unit the repair place bought from the city. Custom built, no brand on it, has about 2 gigs of RAM in it with a 160 gig disc and a burner/cd/DVD unit

The overnight low was 50. The rain is still drizzling and will be all day. The Cawffee is good. I did not sleep good last night, a morning nap is planned after Moose goes to school. Oatmeal and toast for breakfast later. It feels like a 2 pot morning.

Twenty some odd degrees warmer'n it was twenty four hours ago. Fairly decent out. Right sure it's gonna be wet later on. I can handle wet onna no steel ringin' day. Tomorrow's CAS party is off due to it tho. Back up plan is on for Sunday.

The ole boy at the computer store asked what I did with the things. Told 'im the inter thing (Al Gore's invention), e-mail 'n word processin'. He sold me this refurbed thingy. Took it home, set it up, typed in the secret code 'n went live on June 22, 2011. Price, $140.00.

When it pukes, wanna find 'nother'n just like it.

The drizzle is still coming down, a good day to stay inside.  The Fort Worth Stock Show starts next weekend and runs through the first week of Feb. I don't plan on attending the rodeo, but I do plan on going through the exhibits building and visit with Buck and his wife. He's got a new print called, "Oklahoma Lawman" that I plan on buying for my collection.

We have a high temp in the low 60s today. I had a short nap this afternoon. The sun is out and the rain has stopped. No clue for supper tonight.

Had a gig this evening, spaghetti supper that we were entertainment for. Dinner was our pay for this one, only, we didn't get to eat there. They got a lot more in than they were prepared for. By the time they had ours ready, it was time for our second set. Ended up taking ours to go. Pretty good sized meatballs with it, three of them.

It's foggier than crap here right now,42 out. I ran in and out of it on the way home, some of it was pretty thick.

The Cawffee and hot water are ready for drinking this morning. The drizzle is going to be around this morning and I am wide awake. The Cawffee is good, strong and black. Breakfast is planned for later. The weather is a welcome change from the ice and cold temps.
