I made this slim jim a whiles back for my 2nd generation colt 1851 navy. the carving is off in some places but it has grown on me. I finally got around to making me a belt for it. designed similar to the north Carolina belt used during the war of northern aggression. with a japanned roller buckle. both belt and holster are finished with olive oil and several coats of tan-kote. the brain tan beaded and quilled knife sheath was made by a good friend of mine. I keep a original Wilson butcher knife in it.

That's a nice rig, Billy. I favor the narrowed belts like yours. Good job.
