Stirrup Trouble

Have any of the Nebraska clubs set their 2014 schedules yet? Trying to plan next year, and looking to meet more people since I am new to the sport.

Thanks

Dalton Masterson

Hi stirrup!
I think Platte Valley Gunslingers are planning on the 3rd Sat starting in May, but that may be awaiting range approval.
Flatwater will be the 3rd Sun.

Millbrook Wranglers in Hill City, Ks is the 2nd Sunday year round weather permitting.

Hopefully freeda and I can make it this year.
DM

Rucus IS fun!

Were ya from?

Central part of the state. Small town called Palmer, just east of St. Paul. I just started shooting SASS last year, and I am hooked, even though I have only shot two matches, and I am slow as molasses

Pitspitr

Sure I know where Palmer is... I was there this fall. I do stats for the Twin Loup FB team. I'm from Sargent. I shoot with a small club in Ord.

Next June I'm hosting the GAF Grand Muster at my farm NE of Sargent. You should think about coming up...even if you don't shoot. But plan to shoot. I think it's it's a really fun match. Here's a link to the information about it.:

Sounds fun! I am not familiar with the GAF and usually just do the cowboy thing, but I will check it out and maybe I can come up

Pitspitr

GAF isn't that much different than the "cowboy thing". That's where we got our start and we intentionally included categories that made participation by "cowboys" easy.

Yep, GAF matches are a lot of fun. You can shoot as a scout with your regular cowboy guns, but can also shoot some non cowboy things as well.... Lots of options, and a unique format to the shooting.
Pitspitr,
I am working on getting there this summer.....
