Have a basketball game to play at tonight with her alumni band. Sasha is responding to the anti-b's, muzzle is getting more towards normal looking. She's sleeping in her "room" at the moment. Sandy's two are curled up in her recliner, not sure where Sadie is, maybe in Sandy's room They are definately in their winter mode

I just finished the last bowl of vegetable beef soup. We still have Brunswick stew and Northwoods bean soup in the deep freeze. The sun is out and the temp is in the high 40s.

The wife made a nice vegetable beef soup out of a lonely little sirloin she found in the freezer.  I'll bet it was tasty, but couldn't say for sure. Did eat a whole bowl of it but didn't eat my biscuit. Been kinda off my feed today - too much Christmas candy & cookies & crap yesterday.

 Moose made a pot of Chili for supper tonight and some tamales to go with the Chili. It is already dark and the temp is dropping. The Chili and Tamales will be good comfort food to warm me up.

Hey all.

Glad ta see a mostly good time was had by all.  I balieve septic tanks have a built in timer set for holidays or extremely bad weather, hope it settled down.

Had a quiet Christmas Eve with Lil an a roast leg a lamb.  Usual suspects came the next day for snacks an turkey while the grands opened their gifts.  Speakin a grands, the latest is officially runnin late now.  Nice ta know early the stubborn gene's been passed on. 

Got a take an bake in the oven called the bacon, bacon, bacon, guessin it'll suit me fine.  Ya all have a good weekend.

Whatever the belly thing is, it extended the kids' stay by a couple days. Ali got hit yestitty 'n was scared ta ride. May leave me alone. Figgered I'd get it tomorrow 'n miss the OFSDAR party it the radar trap otherwise known as Waverly. Now that it's canned due to predicted wet weather I may skate.

Thanks for the Cawffee this morning. It is going to be a two pot morning. The temp is still cool outside, but the sun is out. The temp should be in the 60s by this afternoon.

I had some oatmeal and toast after I had my morning shower. It warmed my innards after the shower. We still have a bunch of leftover Christmas dinner as well as two batches of soup that are frozen in the deep freeze. No lunch planned, probably an early supper instead.

So I'm just about over the worst of my cold.  I feel way better. 

Weather is overcast, and just below freezing, with a predicted high of somewhere in the 40s, with some sun.

Was busy this morning. Temp is 46 with sun, we got out and while I was cleaning up after the dogs, the wife took the outdoor decorations down. A lot easier when stuff ain't froze to the deck

Band director didn't murder my lip last night, a plus We also had three firsts so we could spell each other. Wife's alma mater won the game, too

So far my cold/sinus thing hasn't been too strong.....so far

I cannot seem to get warm, so soup is planned for tonight. The Bowl system has gotten so watered down. All the good games are on Jan 1 and 2.

The one with Michigan in isn't on until 10 tonight our time. Notre Dame won theirs, Cinncinatti got their butt handed to'em

We had the Northwoods Bean Soup for supper tonight and it got me warmed. We still have Chili and Brunswick stew in the deep freeze. We got next week's meals taken care of.
